The whole thing was a horrible experience.First I arrive at a secondary location which they had arranged due to lack of availability at the first place and I was informed in advance and that was okay. The horror started when I walk up to the front desk and the guy attending it without even asking my name or if I had a reservation tells me straight up “we have no rooms available” and there I was dumbfounded thinking how did he even read my mind to know my name of reservation number, then I told him I have a reservation and he was still skeptical and checked and he told me he only had one room available and stars blaming trip.com then he calls the manager and tells me the manager wants to talk to me then the manager tells me that it was a problem with trip and they had one room at location number 1 and another one at location number 2, we agreed to this arrangement because at this point we had no other viable choice, one group of people was left at location 1 then the second group left to location 2, it was the same story they told us they did not have any reservation under our name and did not even check the paperwork, then manage comes out and tells the front desk girl to give us a room that there was no problem still while blaming it on the app. Apart from this being extremely frustrating, the room was dilapidated, and well, we will never be coming back to this place ever! The only good thing about this is that trip.com contacted me and tried helping fix...
Read moreThey charged you a deposit of $100 which most hotels do but they didn’t put it on the web when booking… that is not the problem… the deposit should be given u out at check out…. i check out 9:43am on sunday aug 17th the girl at the front told me that they will refund my deposit in 2 hours which said it is acceptable… i didn’t received it and I call the same sunday at 2:30 pm she told me is getting processed,.. today is wednesday aug 20th and still haven’t received it… I called back and they said that they don’t know what happened and there is apparently no solution!! That they are going to call me back!
I am still waiting for their call back!
Liars! And not taking responsability for their actions! Is been 4 days already and haven’t refund the deposit… usually hotels just block the amount and give it back! But i think this hotel is just taking advantage of people… I don’t live in niagara that is why I rented a hotel, but imagine a tourist coming from another country and staying there? How can they call back after going to their country…

Read morePersepolis Inn is under new ownership, and they are working on restoring it(ongoing construction). We stayed 1 night in an unrenovated family room, which had 2 separate bedrooms with queen beds(1+2). A/C was ice cold, soap, shampoo, and clean towels provided. Had an old fridge with no shelves, but we didn't need it. Table, chairs, TV, small portable heater. There was only 1 coat hanger in the closet, but again, we didn't really need any of that. Bed sheets were clean, rooms clean, that's all that mattered. A BIG bonus was no bed bugs or roaches... that would be a move right out for me. Bathtub was looking very, very old, and we opted out not to use it, but the toilet was new, so that's great. This place offers coffee and cookies in the morning. Not much, but great for starts. Staff is great. Very informative and knowledgeable about events in town. We were told there would be fireworks that night at the falls(we didn't know about it), so that was great.
