Avoid Chouhan Jewelers at All Costs!
I recently had a horrific experience at Chouhan Jewelers on Lundy's Lane. I attempted to trade in two brand-new, unworn Cuban chains (totaling 120g of Italian 925 silver) that I purchased new.
The owner of Chouhan Jewelers offered me a laughable $20 for each chain, claiming they weren't genuine silver despite being stamped "925 Italy" in both proper spots on each chain. He then tried to sell me a smaller chain for over $200. The chain was 23 grams.
The experience was not only infuriating but also insulting. The owner's blatant attempt to rip me off and his refusal to acknowledge the authenticity of my silver pieces left a sour taste.
I strongly advise against doing business with Chouhan Jewelers. Their tactics are dishonest, and their prices are absurd. Instead, consider visiting King of Trade Pawnshop or other reputable businesses in the area.
Warning Signs: Low offers for genuine items Attempts to deceive customers about the authenticity of their possessions Overpriced items for sale Suspiciously high ratings (potentially due to fake reviews from friends and family)
Final Verdict: they got good reviews because their friends and family wrote it on Google to make em look good. the same goes with a lot of other buisness, lol. Chouhan Jewelers is not a trustworthy business. Avoid them at all costs to protect yourself from their...
Read moreI have had my ring - purchased elsewhere - for 10+ years and since it’s white gold it needs a lot of maintenance to the tune of $100 every 6-12 months where I have to make an appointment and the ring takes 1-2 weeks to get back from the technician. I’ve lived in many cites & even downtown Toronto and this process is the same everywhere I go. I’ve been fed up with my ring for years because of this costly, time consuming maintenance necessary to make it look presentable. WELL! I walked in today to Chouhan Jewelers and they were able to service my ring, better than it ever looked for 80% less than every other place I’ve ever have taken it to. I had THE BEST experience in jewelry EVER. I will never go anywhere else. They also had many interesting designs in their showcase, not just your standard settings with typical designs. I found innovative, unique pieces that really standout and again, the way they serve you! I felt like a King. Do not look any further. Please visit them if you are in the area, they will not...
Read moreI was completely scammed by Chouhan Jwellers, and I urge others to avoid this store. I purchased a silver chain from them, only to discover they charged me significantly more than its actual value. For comparison, I found a much higher-quality silver chain at another jewelry store near the GTA, which was not only better crafted but also $100 cheaper! This stark difference in price and quality left me feeling cheated. Don’t be fooled by their glowing 5-star reviews—they seem fabricated to lure customers. Chouhan Jwellers is taking advantage of their location, where competition is scarce, to inflate prices and push subpar products. When you shop closer to the GTA, you’ll find far better quality and fairer prices from reputable jewelers. I strongly advise against purchasing from Chouhan Jwellers and will never recommend them to anyone. Save your money and shop elsewhere for honest deals and superior...
