We didn't realize that the hours at this location had changed recently and ended up stopping in about 20 mins before close. Not sure if the staff were just in a rush to get customers out, or if they were just both having a bad day, but the service was lacking. I ordered my refresher blended and received it over ice without the inclusions that it should've come with (the sticker was printed correctly). If the blenders had already been cleaned or something, and the barista was honest and just let me know, I wouldn't have minded ordering something else to make their lives easier but don't appreciate getting charged for something that I won't be receiving. Didn't want to ask for the drink to be remade as the baristas seemed to be rushing to close and we felt like we were unwelcome/intruding. To stay out of the way, we sat on the patio and when one of the partners came out to put down the umbrellas another couple on the patio started to ask if it was ok that we still sit outside after close and the partner ignored them, huffed, and marched back inside locking the door. We all looked at each other slightly taken aback and uncomfortable and laughed it off saying that I guess we know better than to try and come in during the evening shift now. I've had really great service here in the past but the past couple of times that I've been in I've found the staff to be very argumentative, unhelpful, or blatantly rude. As a former barista myself, I know that sometimes management puts a lot of emphasis on closing quickly but if that's the case customers should be aware that certain things are unavailable after a certain time. I'm also especially patient with people who are still learning complicated recipes, POS systems, or perfecting their customer service skills (been there) ; but I'm finding more and more often that I get met with attitude or an eye roll when I ask for something as simple as a drink modification. It might sound silly, but when I'm spending so much money on a single drink, I shouldn't have to dread interacting with my barista, or settle for a drink made with multiple errors. Hate rolling the dice on whether my experience will be positive...
Read moreThe staff are so rude, I get my coffee 2x a day and any time I have to go to this location I know in some way a teenager is going to lecture me or be reprimanded for silly things…. It’s absolutely crazy! Customer first is not in this locations vocab… all the locations around them amazing! Don’t know who’s training this bunch but it should be followed up on…. Two incidents off the top of my head which I’m laughing kinda …. I ordered a hot coffee and it was late even though I ordered it while I was on the highway, they were clearly crazy busy and I wanted to keep it warm until I got to my destination where I had a coffee for somebody else, the stickers were right there on the counter And they were all running around so I went to put a sticker onto my lid and the barista came over and slapped. My hand. Literally touched me and said next time ask… In most other locations there either not there for customers to use or they’re out so you can place the sticker yourself depending on the location . Another incident was I ended up having a order and an important phone call came in, but I couldn’t leave my car so I decided to go through the drive-through instead, then I got this 16-year-old girl giving me a lecture that I shouldn’t be going through the drive-through unless I have specific instructions for pick up through the drive-through, clearly not something I do all the time, however Just insane that you have to have a child give you a lecture in order for you to have a convenient minute … there are others, this one was convenient to where I go when in Niagara, however I will now no longer visit...
Read moreI go here all the time and I've never had a problem with my order. Today was different, I order the same thing every time, I never once was told I was ordering wrong and I always got what i expected. Today I went through and ordered my flat white, I've always asked for extra foam, and toffee nut and th3 gi4k at the speaker said very rudly "well that's not really a flat white if you are getting extra foam but I will make it for you anyway" and then she proceeded to ask me about how many pumps of toffee nut I wanted- I honestly didn't know because normally they just tell me a total and I pay- so I said whatever the normal amount is and she responded rudly "so five?" I don't normally complain, but I pay 6.50 for my guilty pleasure. I still tipped and was friendly at the window because I understand that customer service sucks. I will be going in and confirming how I should be ordering my coffee, and will make it known I was not happy about how I...
