Went in to get some art supplies and saw they had 60% off on canvas so we grabbed 3 of them. Went up to the register and they said that sale was done. I told them to sign was still up and so they radioed the staff to go check, I also made my way that way but by the time I went they took down the signand said it was never up. They forgot to remove it but it was there when I got the supplies. They did not honor the fact that they forgot the sign up and argued that it was never up.
This review is now a month or so after the above one and a month into the lockdown. I called to get some help on finding an item that I wasn't able to find online. The lady I spoke to at 4:20pm was so reluctant to help. I knew you had to order online but I asked her for help to see if they had the stock. She kept on telling me she couldn't look for it and that I had to order online. I called a different store and they were able to help me right away and they gave me the location that had my item in stock.
2 years later and once again this location was brutal. Someone did come to help and I asked for a price. I they replied with ok can you move so I did and they again rudely told me get out of the way. I’ve only hand knitted but never needle knitted so I was wanting to try accomplishing that, I asked for assistance because I had a few questions regarding what size to use and I had a yarn picked out and I only wanted to do a basic design nothing too out there, a lady came over to help me but she wasn’t helpful at all I felt berated and on the edge of crying because she was treating me horribly telling me I can’t knit a blanket that I shouldn’t have come to the store because I know nothing, (she’s a bigger middle aged lady with light blonde hair and said she teaches knitting classes ) she kept rolling her eyes and telling me to just go home and when I know what I want to come back, she was telling me it’s impossible for me to knit a blanket even after I told her I’ve done hand knitting she said that is not the same what-so ever. Read moreif Zero Stars was an option I would have chosen that. On a Saturday, around 11am I went into Michaels to have 3 items matted and framed into 1 large picture frame. At the time i was shocked to find out that for a custom frame it would take 2 weeks. The woman working told me that I would be able to do a custom matte that would take 48 hours and to come back on Monday with my items. Upon doing that, the manager was working. She told me that this was not possible that a custom matte with more than 1 opening would also take 2 weeks Instead of trying to rectify the issue by giving me solutions all she did was throw the associate working under the bus. She was more interested in calling out the worker than fixing our issue. no help to us at all. We had expressed that this was for our Wedding that was a week away. Major misinformation was given. I was quoted a price of over $120. Ultimately I was able to get a matte cut and put into the frame with my images in under 2 hours for $90 cheaper. DON`T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH MICHEALS.
