I recently had the pleasure of dining at NorthBay , and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambience of the restaurant is simply stunning, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm. The large windows offer breathtaking views of NorthBay, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

The staff at Spicywok are top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevate the dining experience.

Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The restaurant is impeccably maintained, from the spotless dining area to the pristine restrooms. This attention to detail extends to every aspect of the establishment, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment for all guests.

The food is a highlight, featuring a diverse menu that caters to global tastes. Each dish is prepared with fresh, healthy ingredients, and the flavors are simply outstanding. Whether you're in the mood for Asian , Thai or anyother there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

An added bonus is the free parking, which is a rare and welcome convenience in this bustling area. It's a relief to know that you can dine without worrying about parking fees or availability.

One of the standout features of Spicywok is its top-floor location, offering panoramic views of the surrounding nature. It's not just a meal, but an experience that connects you with the beauty of the outdoors. The serene setting and fresh air make it a perfect escape from the daily grind.

Overall, Spicywok is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore NorthBay. With its excellent food, superb service, and unbeatable views, it’s a place that promises not just a meal, but a...

Was very excited to try this new place and planned on going on Valentines Day. I wasn't feeling the greatest, though, so we decided to order online and pick up. I went through the menu meticulously to ensure all the dishes I chose were "nut free."" When I ordered, I left a message in the note section: * TREE NUT ALLERGY * since our daughter is allergic. Fast forward to 10 minutes after we got our food home, and our daughter was tasting the different dishes. She immediately started reacting to the food, and I needed to give her epi x2, ventolin and benadryl, and then off to the hospital for steroids, fluids, and more benadryl. I was 😠 😡. I called and tried to ask what the heck was in the food (trying to pinpoint the source is important in case it could be a new unknown allergy). Unfortunately, communication was difficult due to language barriers, I asked for a refund. No where on their menu do they warn of allergies (I noted two dishes on the menu that had cashews) or cross contamination was an issue. If they can't guarantee it, no problem, I'll order somewhere else. Needless to say, none of us ate, and when my husband and I did at 11:30 at night, it was..meh. Personally, I thought the portions were way too small for the cost, and there are restaurants with better price points with better food I'd go for next time. Given the lack of attention to our order and the seriousness of the situation, we will never order from...

Short review: A combination of experienced chef, friendly staff and fabulous management delivers flavour-packed food one after the other. Not to be missed if you live in North Bay or are driving by this city. Go on and read if you find it useful: The manager greeted all customers and walked through the signature items. That was very helpful. The server was very polite and brought the food very promptly. My meal started with delicious momo made from scratch. I tried the chicken chilli which was tender and infused with garlic and spices. Both are must try starters. After a pause with a cup of nice milk tea, I went on to enjoy roti, south asian whole wheat flat bread, with hakka noodles. Never had I had such a delicious version of hakka noodles! Bravo! The chef came out to greet the customers and offered me a complementary bowl of rice to match with the remaining momo sauce. Everest Cusine is a wonderful addition to North Bay. Bonus: nice view of the downtown and Lake Nipissing from the window. Additional bonus: The Days Inn guests get 10% off. You could download a cashback app, Loyabuzz, at the counter before you pay. The app helped me get additonal loyalty points, which I gather is convertible to cash when I...

I was hesitant at first. The hotel this place is in is pretty run down. I get to the 5th floor and here is this unique plastic-covered tabled restaurant with a view over looking a dismal part of downtown North Bay. The woman who greeted me was very friendly and kind. I ordered the spicy chicken pad thai and an order of pakoras. The pakoras were delicious - excellent texture and flavour. The sauce it came with was not your typical green (mint) and red (chutney) but a brown sauce that tasted great. The Pad thai - not so good in my opinion. I could not taste the blend of salty, sweet, spicy sour and creamy flavour profile. The ingredients were fresh and good quality - I just didn’t taste the pad thai flavour profile I am used to and there was no scrambled egg in the dish. This restaurant has a lot of potential. It’s quirky and that makes it different - if you could make every dish as good as your pakoras - I think you would have a must go destination. I would cut your menu in 1/2 and go from there. I mean this in the best way. It’s is hard to run a restaurant but it makes it easier if you have a manageable number of dishes you can hone to perfection over time. The pakoras will make me return to try more soon.
