My Thai Palace North Bay — Restaurant in North Bay

First time here. Good ole restaurant with mostly bench seating down its length. The one staff member was very pleasant, explained the menu well. I had the daily dinner special which consists of an appetizer, soup, main and a side. My wife ordered one main dish and we ordered a third main dish (knowing we may not be able to eat all of it) First of all, way too many items on the menu which lends itself to a usual "Chinese Take-Out" (generic term) and yes, the food tasted just like that. Not what I would call a true Thai experience. That being said the food was tasty, lots of it, had to take home the leftovers and along with a side of rice it was enough to feed us the next night. I probably won't go back but that won't stop me from suggesting this establishment...

My Thai Palace North Bay is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and efficiency. Our order of vegetable green curry, Thai soup, general tao chicken, and spring rolls surpassed our expectations. Each dish boasted fresh ingredients and delightful flavours that tantalized our taste buds. Our server was not only incredibly sweet but also lightning-fast, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The regular size Thai soup was incredibly generous, and every bite left us craving more. Without a doubt, My Thai Palace North Bay has earned its reputation for exceptional service and delicious Thai cuisine. We'll definitely be back for more...

So this is my second time trying 'My Thai Palace', I figure I would give it a second chance...my girlfriend had never tried it so we decided to go for it...we ordered the Chicken Satay which was mediocre & no flavour...she ordered the Vegetarian Pad Thai & I had the Pad Thai w/tiger shrimp & vegetables...neither of us like it & were quite disgusted with our meals considering it was a $60 meal...my shrimp still had it's shell on & my vegetables tasted raw...her meal shortly after she ate was having bad stomach pains...I.would never ever recommend this place to anyone, horrible food...I hope who ever reads this, take my advice & do not order...
