Brazza Gelato & Coffee — Restaurant in North Vancouver

CAPILANO ON MARINE LOCATION ONLY (LONSDALE IS MUCH BETTER)

I took my family there this evening ( Saturday Feb. 13th at 7:30pm) We entered the store and were the only customers. One young lady served us and was very unpleasant. she asked us to pay before we had even ordered. I ordered a large shake, and was given a small shake because they ran out of large cups. My wife's gelato had chunks of ice in the serving. A fellow came out from the back and explained having chunks of ice in your gelato is completely normal because it does not contain milk.

Overall, I felt unwelcome as soon as I walked through the door. they were closing up early and I felt liek I was being rushed out the door.

Very disappointing experience.

I took my mom here to celebrate Mother’s Day. We came here in the afternoon for a drink and snack or lunch if she wanted. She is not a big eater so chose drink and a snack.

She ordered an apple pastry type dessert with icing sugar on top which they heated up. She said it was very tasty but was so big she took half of it home with her. She ordered a latte to drink. She loved the artistry of the design they made with the milk!

I ordered a lemon sorbetto as I thought it would be light and refreshing and it did not disappoint! I also ordered a limonata San Pellegrino which also very refreshing!

They have so many good baked items and also 7 different sandwiches for several good lunch options. The service, food and drinks were great so we would...

On my way back to my car, I popped in here to grab a quick coffee after having just purchased some freshly baked goodies at Nickel's Bakery down the street. Before I even had a chance to sit down and have my coffee I was warned by the lady at the counter not to eat the "outside food" that I had in my bag. To be clear, I never had any intention of eating the food and I had never even taken it out of the bag. The staff member just assumed that I would take it out and eat it. What should I have done? Not enter the premises because I had gone shopping somewhere else? Just bizarre that a customer would be treated that way. Suffice to say that was my first and last visit to this establishment. I won't patronise a business that "welcomes"...
