Zen Maker Lab (Shipyards) — Local services in North Vancouver

I want to share my experience with the spring break camp my child attended recently at zen Maker lab. While I had high hopes for an enriching experience focusing on science and technology, I was thoroughly disappointed with the reality.Throughout the duration of the camp, my child was primarily engaged in mundane arts and crafts activities, similar to what they already do at school and their after-school club. There was a lack of emphasis on science and technology, which was the main reason for choosing this camp. We held our daughter’s 9th birthday party @ Zen Maker Lab - Shipyards, and we were thrilled with our choice. The staff were impeccable and professional, from start to finish. This place is an outstanding venue, with tons of activities to keep the children engaged. The 3D printing was a huge hit. I can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely impressed with how well they presented everything. To top everything off, the children were then treated to free ice skating downstairs. My daughter had her 7th birthday party at Zen Maker Lab and it was fantastic! They programmed robots to do a robot fashion show and the kids had so much fun. The staff were excellent and super caring. They did a great job guiding the kids, and went above and beyond in many small and big ways.
