They are great at making pizza but absolutely nothing else. They advertise 25% off your first order made with their downloaded app on a sign in the store. So I phoned and confirmed they still had that offer they said yes. The guy on phone said I think you might have to scan the QR code, but then said he would give me the offer if I showed up and the QR code didnt work. Great, so I downloaded the app. Ordered a pizza. Selected their pay at the door option. I show up to buy the pizza even having a screenshot of how I ordered it in the app containing the order number. The customer service was rude and confrontational, said there was nothing they could do. Then they said the other guy I spoke to on the phone is on his break. He will be back soon and do the offer for me. Great, so I wait another 10min and the guy comes back, then I explained I had ordered through the app, and the QR code on this sign just goes to a broken app store link. He says nope we are just a branch I cant do the offer for you. Why are these people completely unable to help or provide competent customer service? I have ordered pizza here before this app several times and never had a problem. Now they advertise an offer then bait and switch and refuse to honor it with proof you followed the order. They say sorry we cant do it, you need to call or email corporate. Why arent you guys calling and emailing corporate for me that your advertised offer is a bait and switch? Im not going to contact corporate to explain your franchised company does not understand how to advertise something and then support what you advertised. Not only is their management incapable and incompetent but the employees just say their is nothing they can do and get upset at the polite customer for merely following their offer instructions. Terrible company that can do nothing except make tasty pizza. Will never shop here again on the PRINCIPLE that this company is poorly run. I ordered one pizza around 1:45 pm for pickup and they said it would be ready in 7 minutes for pickup. I gave them courtesy call to let them know i would be picking up atleast until 2:45 pm, and i told them clearly to prepare the order as early as possible, since i want to spend less time inside the store during the pandemic time. I got there around 2:40 pm, and guess...1 pizza is not yet done or ready. When i told them, i did expect them to have completed the work, they just told me the following: a) "We are busy business, if you want to cancel, go ahead and cancel. We will not do anything....". b) "We dont care if you cancel the order. We have other customers placing the orders...."...
I tried to explain that the attitude is so wrong, and they got really agitated. On the flip side, i prepaid for a service which has to be fulfilled within a reasonable time.
Other than the woman who was in store, the guys in the store were very disrespectful. Never i have felt this disrespected in a store, or i have to face passive aggression ( defensive behaviour ) from these staff. My recommendation is to treat customers as customers. I used to love pizza garden and I was excited for this treat (I say treat because let's be honest they are on the pricey range of what pizza should cost) first off, ordering was a bit chaotic, the girl on the phone seemed confused, forgot to tell me how long it would take for my pick up etc. but hey we all were new at some job sometime so i didn't think too much of it. when we got there (at the time we were told the pizza was gonna be ready) we were rudely told it was not ready and that we would have to wait at least 15 minutes. so after talking with them (felt more like arguing) they realized they got confused in our order and it was indeed ready to pick up. all this would have been a small inconvenience if the meal would have had worth it but unfortunately the whole inside of the pizza was soggy, i dont know if it wasn't cook enough or if they just put super wet ingredients on it but it was honestly really unpleasant to eat. half of every slice were wet. So for that price ill definitely go somewhere else next time im craving pizza.
