V-Nam Restaurant Lonsdale — Restaurant in North Vancouver

I have now eaten here approximately 5 times and I really like it.

There are two V Nam locations, I believe, but this one has better portion sizes, accommodating staff, and excellent service.

Eating certain things is difficult for me, and they work around this with ease and grace. I truly appreciate their willingness.

Our first time eating there I ordered combo A which was a small skewer with 3 tiny dried out shrimp and some red peppers, one salad roll, a spring roll & some shredded pork on vermicelli with pickled veg. A huge bowl of noodles With pork came out and it was cold, dry, very bland, no flavor. I could t tell if it was the way it was supposed to taste.because I had never had it before but it wasn’t good. We have gone here off and on over the years and every.single.time the server who is the owner or manager gets the order wrong. She never writes down your order, even though we have asked several times and sure enough we get the wrong item. Then you have to wait another 15 -20 mins for the right order for which I had to ask for because they didn’t bother fixing it. The food is OK but the service is severely lacking. We won’t be back.
