WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Negative 5 STARs
ARROGANT UNCOUTH OWNERS!!!
Yesterday he told a guest in the dining room "u said you won't came back why are you here"!?
HORRIFIED !!!??#@$!"
If you are reading this please assess for yourselves if you want to support such business owners in oakville AND INFECT YOURSELF WITH NEGATIVITY ?
"Some" dishes may be ok "to taste" but BEWARE the food makes your stomach BLOATED for days... meaning BAD to health. (Dishes must be loaded with chemicals, check their dark brown sweet chutney... it should be tamarind or plum.. shouldn't be glue like...the green chutney is green COLOUR in water & onion not coriander or mint...Yukk!
On numerous occasions have noticed bad hygiene practices!
Disgusting toilets!
Most of the above may be common in a lot of restaurants but this resturant is "unique" for another reason!
The man at the cash (short & in his 30s, calls him self an owner) - is an ncredibly ARROGANT, disrepectful, rude, egotistic, money-minded uncouth "resturant owner", I have encountered!
Have witnessed unquote customer treatment countless times from this man & another, a woman (prob related to him).
Saddest was watching them treat their meek staff rudlly in a full dining room. I wonder how the staff must be treated in privacy 😱(I now wish i had spoken up for the staff that day and left that restaurant never to return)... but we don't wake up to injustice till it happens to us!
Noticed him argue with & insult his customers many times, even in long linesups, he had no regard for other guests or their time!
Please dont ever tell this man your concern about any dish...he will insult you even ask you to leave. Last Saturday there was long lineup...this same man spent over 15 min insulating a young girl prob in her teens she left almost in tears telling him to keep what she had paid for!
Yesterday I was at this God forsaken resturant AGAIN!!! had brought a couple people to lunch, upon my concern to him privately he argued then folowed me into the dining room with no regard for my guests he went on arguing arrogantly and endleasly !!!
For the sake of convenience we keep going back to this restaurant...not realizing that we are not just consuming unhealthy food BUT more importantly, food that has been infected with the bad energy if it's owner!
Only those who like to be treated badly, and enjoy to be publicly disrepected should continue going to this resturant!
...as for myself...
Read moreSat here had a meal after a long time. The last time we sat there was when A1 would let customers buy a Thali and let you eat at the restaurant. From the time they started buffet we just do takeout.
So this time we took 2 two item combos and 1 one item combo with a Samosa Chaat. This not only prevents us from eating mindlessly but also eat as soon as it served rather than eat at home within containers and also perhaps be a little more economical.
The family had Palak Paneer and Malai Kofta, a Mixed Vegetables and Mutter Paneer and the third one with just Cumin Potatoes (one of the four item that is marked as Vegan) The 2 two item were with Naans and the one item with Rotis without butter to make it vegan. The Samosa Chaat also without the Green Spicy Chutney as it has yogurt to make it Vegan. The Cumin Potatoes were too dry to eat and gets to you after a couple of bites. Will stick Chole or Daal the next time.
The items fresh and perfectly spiced - not too spicy and not overly seasoned as many Indian Restaurants are. The naans were soft and hot. The way family likes it. The Rotis came out nice and hot and were soft.
Did we like the food, sure. Did we save some money? A bit. Could have paid a few extra dollars and had a larger variety of food, however on the downside would have gained a couple of pounds and regretted at night. Overall I am glad we ate...
Read moreNot recommended!!! We bought sweets and they had a pungent oil smell. I took it for a return. The chef confirmed that sometimes oil gets into the sweets lol. The rep at counter refused to accept that it could be bad. I offered them to taste it but they won't taste their own sweets (I even offered them to taste from their counter and not my box). After a much back and forth and me asking them to just keep it, the rep talked to the owner of the restaurant and I was offered to purchase a different sweet of my liking. I tried a couple different sweets but surprisingly a few of them had the same oil smell. Finally found something that didn't smell (kalakand was okay). They weighed my box because I had tasted the contents of the original box (to find out it was spoiled) and gave me the same amount. Long story short this is not the only instance. Everytime I have been there I haven't had a great experience. They really need to adapt to the new growing Indian restaurant market here in Oakville. Folks gone are the days when you were one of the only Indian restaurants in Oakville. Please pick up your game (service and quality). There are many other much better Indian restaurants here now that are going to give you a stark competition. All the best. But I haven't come back to you guys since the...
