The staff was respectful, but the owner made it clear I couldnât have more than one drink â despite being well within posted business hours. While I was quietly sitting and having that one drink, the server brought the bill without me asking, and the music was turned off mid-drink. The energy made it very clear I wasnât welcome. Not the experience you expect when trying to enjoy a quick, respectful drink before close. Wonât be returning.

Itâs unfortunate that instead of accepting valid feedback, youâve chosen to twist the situation and launch personal attacks.
To clarify: ⢠At no point was I informed that last call had already happened. I politely asked the server if I could order two drinks. She looked to you and said, âWhatever you decide.â You responded that I could have only one, which I respectfully accepted without issue. ⢠I sat quietly and peacefully with my drink. Midway through, the bill was brought without me asking, and the music was turned off â making it very clear I was being rushed out, even though I hadnât done anything wrong or disruptive. ⢠When I tried to have a normal, respectful conversation with you, you responded dismissively, including saying, âWe close when I say we close,â which was unnecessary and condescending.
For the record, I donât normally post reviews, but I felt compelled to write one this time â not because of the service from your staff (who were polite), but because of your attitude. Your response here â calling me âentitled,â âpetty,â and âcowardlyâ â only reinforces why I felt the need to speak up. It wasnât about the drink â it was about how you made someone feel unwelcome for no reason.
After reading other reviews, itâs clear this isnât an isolated experience. I wonât be returning, and I hope others read this and think twice before supporting a place where the ownership treats...
   Read moreRecently, A group of my friends had made a reservation which was confirmed. We called back and asked if we could change the time by pushing it back an hour and the owner said it was okay and space was available. After cancelling the first reservation, and instantly booking the second, our reservation was not accepted (despite being told there was space and somebody would accept it later in the week).
I decided to call back and was curious to know why and was greeted with a rude tone of voice from the female owner Tricia. Apparently she had double booked and was in denial about admitting their mistake. If you tell customers they have space and that you can move their reservation, donât go back in your word, very unprofessional.
For our party, we had 3 people from the halton region and 1 from Markham. Although she informed us that the one person from Markham will not be allowed as per restaurant rules with the current pandemic, we were confused because he had gone to the restaurant 2 times prior that month and nothing was said when he was IDâd for his drinks but now heâs being denied. If you are gonna implement these best practices, you need to be thorough and clearly indicate that on your website.
Anyways, adhering by those rules, she was still adamant about not moving our reservation or even allowing only the members from the halton region to dine. Her exact words âGo book somewhere elseâ because she couldnât answer our questions. Wouldnât recommend this restaurant nor will be booking here anymore.
Edit: As stated above, he was IDâd for his drink. People donât take time out their day to write false negative reviews on random businesses unless situations occur. Hopefully you can use this as a learning experience as management needs training.

   Read moreWe visited this place in Oakville last night with friends, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
We arrived around 9 PM (on a Friday night) and the place was almost empty, but we still decided to stay. Our server was polite and attentive at first. However, at 9:30 PM she informed us that the kitchen would be closing soon (even though the restaurant itself closes at 11 PM), so we rushed to order a few more dishes.
By 10 PM we were told it was âlast callâ for drinks because the bar was also closing early. Just a few minutes later, the staff started vacuuming the carpets, turning off lights, closing the blinds, and basically making it very clear that we were being pushed out. When we questioned why they were closing so early, we were told it was because there were âno customersâ â but we were customers, sitting right there.
The whole situation felt unprofessional and extremely uncomfortable. The man at the bar, who seemed to be the owner, had a terrible attitude and gave the impression that customers were more of a nuisance than anything else.
Itâs clear that they do not value their customers. We left feeling unwelcome and rushed, and we will definitely not be returning. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive...
