My son and I always order from her and we always order delivery. Today I was on my own and decided to try one of their calzones and pick it up since I was out. I get to the restaurant and was greated somewhat friendly, or from what I could tell anyway. When the lady came to the counter I could barely understand what she was saying to me but we eventually figured it out, I paid and stepped aside. Upon observing what was going on I became, shall we say a little unsure of what I was getting into. There were two other employees working away in the back pulling pizzas, boxing and cutting. The gentleman that was cutting looked so confused and unsure of himself with what he was doing, but he was wearing gloves and attempting to complete orders. The other girl was pulling pizzas with the giant spatula, no gloves, grabbed a box, again no gloves, then proceeded to go back to the pizza she was originally working on without washing her hands or putting gloves on and proceeded to pull the pepperoni off that were already on the pizza with bare hands and put those pepperoni back into the container. She then grabbed a different pepperoni and proceeded to put it on the pizza. Now, they offer pepperoni and hala pepperoni which are quite different, that pizza may have been contaminated with non Hala meat and the people who ordered it will never no. Again, all the while handling many things in the store and not washing hands or putting on gloves. Now my calzone, 90% crust, and very light on the fillings which was very disappointing. I noticed a picture at the cash with the history of pizziolo dating all the way back to Italy and the next generation coming along with little Sofia. After witnessing what I saw in that restaurant I have to say I'm very disappointed with what I saw, along with unsure if I will eat there again. It's sad to see restaurants with that kind of history and such deep roots turn into what they have just to save a penny or two. I will definitely be sharing my story with those who I have ALSO told to order from there and let them know how things are or what I at least witnessed on this day. To the owners of Pizziolo I pray changes are made to bring your restaurants back to what...
Read moreI ordered my pizza online, and on the main page I selected the big button that says “gluten free and cauliflower crust”, selected my size as there were two sizes for gluten free crust, not even sure if there are more than one size for regular crust, (I didn’t bother to check) chose the pizza and added fresh garlic on it. But when I went to pick up my order they had the regular gluten crust prepared for me. For some reason the site did not register my gluten free crust selection, and I was told I had to take it since my order didn’t reflect gluten free. Luckily I’m not celiac, but I do not digest gluten very well, it makes me feel terrible. So I had to go to the health food store and pay $20 for digestive enzymes so I don’t feel like complete garbage after eating wheat. And on top of that, there was next to no fresh garlic on my pizza. The only reason why I would recommend this place is because the REGULAR crust was actually good. But sadly I do still get effected by the 2 slices of pizza I just ate. Very disappointed in their site for...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE the food here but the customer service is HORRIBLE. I am a very, very easy going individual, so issues don't usually bother me and I have worked in customer service for 15 years so I am a little more understanding when it comes to mistakes but I am on my last straw with this place. The first time I did an online order here, I waited and my order NEVER showed up. By time I called they were closed... The second time I placed an order here, they forgot my drinks. I ordered AGAIN last night, it took over an hour to receive my order, AND THEY FORGOT THE DRINKS AGAIN. I will never order from this location again. I didn't even receive an apology or any acknowledgement as to what took place. I am highly...
