Chorizo Fresh Mex — Restaurant in Oakville

A couple of things to say about this place. It looks like all the comments are nice but I have so much to share about my experience. First of all, the customer service is so bad, because they are all people that don't know how to speak English properly. I am waiting in line to order and then when it is my turn to order and the cashier explains what comes in each order I cannot understand a word they are saying. Please put people in the cashier that know how to speak English. I am not being discriminative, its just communication is key to this job. Secondly, when I come sometimes I see the manager telling a girl worker to put less cheese on the quesadilla or taco when it is the only thing I ever get on them and nothing else. Like as a person who owns the restaurant why are you being so cheap? Thirdly, the food is so expensive when you can just go to Osmwos beside this place and get a combo for 11 dollars instead of paying almost 15 dollars for a sandwich. Last but not least, the bathrooms have something under the sinks that capture insects and if you are the type of person who goes to the bathroom before ordering or eating your meal then you lose your appetite. Ordered two tacos for takeout with cheese I cannot tell if the cheese is expired or if it's just been left in the fridge uncovered but it tastes very bad like something is off with it. The steak is not seasoned nicely. It just tastes like grill. It doesn't taste like a flavor which is fine on like a salad but not what I expect in a taco. I think it's the only edible portion of this because It's on the top end isn't affected by the cheese. Also when I asked the man who took my order who I'm pretty sure is the owner what was better, the chicken or the steak. He said they are both the same with the tone that sounded disinterested in his own food. I don't know if he doesn't eat it or what but You would think if you were running a restaurant you might have some opinions about the food you're serving. The mess is not the fault of the restaurant as I took one bite and several items fell out of the taco. But it was not plated like this. Sad that I couldn't eat more of it as this was my lunch for today but that cheese does not taste right and I don't want...

Slowly going downhill.

The 1st time I went about 1.5 years ago I liked it, service was great too. Over time I noticed that portion sizes got smaller and my last visit which was today, will definitely be my last. I got two soft tacos for $10 - the amount of meat found in the shells were comparable to taco bell. The price of the tacos are the same for all meat, but you can't get two kinds. That's fine, I can understand that i guess. But when it came to toppings I was only allowed two choices total. I wasn't allowed to put hot salsa on one and sweet on the other. There is no logic behind forcing the customer to do this nor is it good service. The servers stared at me blankly with no smile basically telling me "no pick two only". Finished my meal and while it tasted "ok", when you add up the cost and the service there really is no more reason for me to come here. Plenty of other options for Mexican nowadays anyway.
