Where to start? First off, absolutely the best burger I've ever eaten. My wife says the same, so does my son and father. We discovered this place las year and living about an hour and a half away we stop when we will be going by. I've personally have been working on perfecting my burger for 35 years, I make a mean smash burger that has been everyone's (in my circle) favourite burger for awhile, however, now that we've discovered Gladiator I have been dethroned! Conquered by these culinary centurions I am glad to relinquish the title as I blissfully eat another falling apart burger from these champions. Well done, coming into this over saturated market of fried beef patties on a bun and just doing it so so right! Leaving your competition in the dust (looking at you Burger Works, 5 Guys, etc.). Also, being a Halal restaurant they serve beef bacon and our whole family has been totally won over by this, no need for pork bacon (you've honestly got to try this beef bacon!!). The wonderful ladies that serve you, take orders on the phone, despite being so busy, always get our orders right and genuinely care that you love your experience. Thank you!!! Can't overlook this as well, you know those glossy adds that you see for burger joints? Pics of big juicy handful burgers that, just, completely don't hold up come reality. So let’s get in to this review. This was the most uncomfortable dining experience I’ve ever had from servers & an owner (I’m gonna guess he was). This was my first time and it’s my LAST!!!!!!! From the moment I walked in there was a man ( I’m guessing the owner) standing by the kitchen door with black sunglasses on just standing there watching me. Ok a little uncomfortable. Then, after I ordered my food I sat down. The 3 women working behind the counter began looking over at me and would be giggling and chatting. I’m feeling awkward and wondering why they are looking at me so much. Then, the creepy guy with the sunglasses takes them off and comes to the door at the kitchen every few minutes and looks over at me. Now I’m getting uncomfortable. Then he’s speaking to the one woman with the head covering and the their both laughing and looking at me every once in a while. It was so obvious they were talking about me. I’m not sure wha made me so interesting for them to have to talk about and stare so much but it was so rude and so unprofessional. Maybe it was the Cross on my neck? Anyways after I got in my car I sent photos of the restaurant to my sons to show them, I had taken the pics early on when I was waiting for my food and lo and behold don’t I notice them staring right at me two of the women. And the owner? Creeper….hes hiding in the corner where he had been looking over at me several times. Like the most creepiest uncomfortable...
