I DON’T NORMALLY WRITE RESTAURANT REVIEW BUT THIS ONE WORTH MY LONG REVIEW!!! BEWARE OF THEIR UNNOTIFIED EXTRA CHARGE!!! The food were terrible. Not sure how people find this place a gem. The teriyaki chicken rice had some Chinese egg noodle inside?! The Yakisoba had half a scoop of cold rice beside it, covered with sauce. Seems like giving me whatever left over in their kitchen to us. At checkout, the lady (I think she was the owner) didn’t plan to give me a receipt, I paid for and paid $25 tips, when I asked for receipt with details, she told me that she had added 20% service charge on my bill ALREADY because we have more than 6 people, I asked her why she didn’t tell me about it and I have paid extra tips on my bill because of that. She said, “SERVICE CHARGE IS DIFFERENT, IT’S NOT TIPS!” Honestly I would be ok if she have told me beforehand. With not even a single cup of water being served to us (with no one else in the store), I don’t see why did I have to pay for 30% in total In SERVICE CHARGE + TIPS! What a scam! I decided to try this place out, showed up there at 7:15 pm wanting to dine in. The sign said they were closing at 8 o’clock and we didn’t think that was an issue. When we asked to order the items they told us that we could not dine in because they were closing at 8:00 and they would take 20 minutes to cook the food, which would still give us time to sit and eat there. They refused us. We decided to order the food to go. when I asked for a beef dish, they told me, no chicken is faster to cook. I said I’m asking for the beef dish. They said they didn’t wanna make it for us and when we asked for something else, they said again, order the chicken instead. It’s like they didn’t want our business. I assume it’s a husband and wife working, and they were both very rude. We walked out and I will never go back there again. Very disappointing. We ordered 2 makis. Cucumber & avocado and futomaki. Rice was under seasoned in both cased. Nori was breaking apart and couldn't hold the fotomaki. 2 orders of chicken teriyaki was fine, but the spicy pork dish was average. It did not taste like other spicy pork dishes in other Korean restaurants. We did eat there and ordered up front. We sat down and just waited for the food to come. The waitress didn't even bother to ask if we wanted anything else or even anything else to drink. When I paid, she asked if we got any drinks? This assumes we are to get it ourselves. I said no, there was not even any water. She said clearly they only have bottle water and we are to pay for it. Ok fine, then when I paid, the first entry is 15% tip??? for what?
