During my most recent visit to this establishment, I regret to share that I encountered significant shortcomings in the realm of customer service. It is with a sense of accountability that I direct my remarks to the management responsible for the oversight of this establishment. Upon entering the premises, it was notable that despite our presence, no acknowledgement or engagement was extended towards us. during which we found ourselves standing without any form of assistance.
After this lapse of time, an individual finally addressed us, informing us of the imminent closure of the establishment. This communication served as the final call for patrons, prompting us to forego any notion of dining there. Subsequently, we opted to relocate to an alternative venue for Shisha, which was decided upon at approximately 11 o'clock.
It is incumbent upon me to convey the sentiment that should the current standards of service be maintained, a metaphorical door of indifference appears to be erected, symbolizing a discouragement of new patronage. This stance, if upheld, could be interpreted as prioritizing profit over the inclusion and satisfaction of newcomers. The principles of customer service, especially within the context of the hospitality industry, extend beyond monetary considerations and are paramount in establishments operating in Canada.
I humbly submit this feedback with the intention of fostering improvement and promoting adherence to the principles that govern successful service-oriented entities. While my intent is not to discourage, I find myself compelled to express my hesitancy in returning to this establishment. I extend my gratitude in advance for your consideration of these remarks and hope that they contribute positively to the experience of...
Read moreIt’s not often I write a review but I had a bad enough experience here to set me off for good. I used to come to Moods often, but the last time I went I was treated so disrespectfully that I don’t ever plan on going again. They’ve always had l a very hard time with serving their customers. You’ll find that you’ll be sitting for half an hour before someone comes to your table to offer you help after you’ve waived them down. Their staff is not well trained and many of them seem to be teenagers who come to work to play. The last time I was there, I had to ask a few different servers for something as simple as napkins because the first person we asked consistently forgot. After waiting an hour for them to bring the food out, they had sent 4 different servers to tell us our time was up, as they have a 2 hour limit. We had no problem getting up but I had kindly asked the girl who was sent if we could extend our seating time, as the restaurant was half empty well around 11pm, and that our food and shisha had taken very long to come out, wasting much of our time. She refused and claimed that all the tables had been reserved, which was hard to believe given it was a Wednesday night. I noticed that our table had been the only one reminded of the 2 hour wait time, as there were others still seated who had been at the restaurant before us. I had other family friends there at the same time who had not been forced to leave the same way we were. Very displeased with this service, I used to enjoy coming to moods but this experience has been really disappointing. If you’re going to have a 2 hour seating limit, at least have your service up to par to accommodate that. If it was truly a policy, it should be strictly enforced...
Read moreWent with friends on a weekday for dinner at this establishment. Plenty of free parking at the location which is always a plus point for a restaurant. We were greeted immediately upon entering in a very cheerful and welcoming manner by the hostess and then her supervisor who then proceeded to have us seated. As far as interiors are concerned, the outlet was neat and tidy but gives a run down look compared to other similar newer outlets in Oakville that offer the same kind of food & shisha and could do with a refurbishment. We ordered the Tomato Basil Cream soup Tabouleh salad, 3-Dip mixed appetizer for a start and for the main dishes we ordered a couple of mixed grills (with fries / bulgar) and Egyptian Haty Kofta alongwith Lemon Mint Freeze and fresh carrot juice for our beverages. Also ordered a double apple shisha. The soup, salad and 3 dip mixed appetizers were good as were the drinks. However, the mains were just average with the meat in the mixed grill being over cooked, dry and chewy. The shisha was also ok. We were also given complimentary dessert (rice pudding) which was amazingly good. However, the best part of the evening for us was the excellent service provided by our hostess - NAYA - who was extremely attentive to our needs. She made sure to stop by at our table every so often without being intrusive and inquiring if we required anything else. I think that whatever the rest of the restaurant lacks in was more than made up by the high level of service provided by our server who gave off such a positive and welcoming vibe. In terms of pricing we found the restaurant to be on the pricier side in comparison to other similar Middle Eastern outlets, however, all in all a...
