Golden Leaf Restaurant — Restaurant in Oakville

OK, here's another review that I hope can help everyone considering this Asian fast food restaurant as an option.

I've eaten here several times. My last visit was for a combo B. The fried rice and chicken balls were undoubtedly the best. The egg roll was overcooked to the point of being slightly bitter. The chop suey is simply Mung bean sprouts with chicken, which, for me, isn't the best option as it lacks flavor.

I feel it's a good, very economical option, and they give you enough food to satisfy your appetite, but it's not the best Asian food you'll ever taste. It's a place to go when you're looking for something...

Horrible, I ordered take out, they shipped the wrong food, and they didn't care, it literally ruined my daughters dinner due to allergies, the lady told me accept what I got and that it's almost the same thing, she was well aware and she said she forgot to tell me but knowingly sent the wrong food cause they didn't have that item, meanwhile it is completely different meat and has breaded batter, she even confessed that her menu was incorrect, and I said then you should update your menu to which she said it's not the time, definitely didn't care, I called back only to get the same...

I heard of this happening before in different restaurants but this was the first time we experience this for ourselves. We aren’t much complainers but my boyfriend bit down and this came out of his mouth (metal piece in the picture ) while eating our food we got from golden leaf. Safety is number one for everyone’s health and I don’t even want to think about what could have happened if he didn’t notice on time. Please don’t let mistakes like these happen and pay attention of what your serving the public that come to you. Metal in your food...
