Souvlaki Hut - Cineplex Oakville — Restaurant in Oakville

Admittedly, I was pretty pleased with the quality of food I received when visiting this restaurant. However, after reading some of the reviews they have already received I have to agree with a lot of them. You have to outright ask for the things that you’ve already paid for. I wasn’t even given pita bread for my souvlaki dinner. Nor was I given the honey sticks until I said something. Which in all honesty is fine in this case considering the fact that the lady serving me was caught by another customer wiping her nose with her hand and then continued preparing food without washing her hands. Even after being questioned about what she had just done she went back behind the counter ( walking by the sink, again ) dismissing everything the other customer had said to her. As soon as I saw this I got up and walked out, leaving my dinner behind. I am absolutely flabbergasted and disgusted. I will definitely not...

I've been going to Souvlaki Hut for years and have always been amazed at the food, service and hospitality. I just ordered delivery for the first time and the portions are massive. I ordered a gyro sandwich and a chicken souvlaki dinner; the gyro is so jam-packed that I have enough meat leftover for dinner. I've never received such a big portion for such a great price ($8.95). Everything was very fresh, delicious and generously portioned. Over the many years I've been going, Souvlaki Hut has always been consistent.

I am so surprised to read some of the reviews below - small portions?! I would love to see what portion sizes they expect for ~$9...

I wish I had read the reviews earlier. I would not have ordered from this location. I have ordered from Souvlaki Hut from other locations and found the service to be excellent. I was disappointed that they only gave us one bag of honey sticks instead of the expected 5. Also, the salad dressing was too salty (salt granules were at the bottom of the cups). I had the meal delivered. When I contacted the restaurant, they would not send the honey sticks. The woman I spoke with apologized and kept saying that next time we ordered, she could offer me something else. Scam. There won't be a next time. Not worth the...
