I had hoped to send this as a private email to the 3 Brewers. Unfortunately, I could find nowhere on the website to send feedback. I can only assume they simply don't care.
I felt compelled to write about a horrible and frankly, humiliating experience I had today at the hands of the General Manager at the 3 Brewers in Oakville.
I should preface this by saying both myself and my company employees have been regular patrons of the 3 Brewers since we re-located to Oakville in 2010. Since then, some of us have eaten there on a weekly basis. I’ve hosted company lunches and entertained customers there several times each year. Even through the pandemic lockdown, we continued to order take-out meals from the 3 Brewers in a show of our continued support.
Today we had reservations for a dozen people on the patio for lunch. We had made the reservations a day earlier to make sure there would be no issues should the restaurant be busy on a Friday. When we arrived at 12:30pm for our reservation, the entire patio (and most of the restaurant) was empty. Regardless, we were told that we could not be seated anywhere on the EMPTY patio other than the high tops. Several of my staff, including some women who were wearing skirt and heels, preferred to sit at normal tables. The hostess called the manager who came out at promptly told us “they do not put tables together” on the patio. When we showed her our reservation confirmation she simply stated in the most indignant voice imaginable, “I am the General Manager and this is our policy.” She then watched as twelve regular diners turn around and walk out the door.
We proceeded across the courtyard to another restaurant – that happily greeted our party (without a reservation). Thankfully, someone is still grateful for some business.
There was a time when “managers” actually had some training in the art of hospitality, and showed some level of respect to their customers. I can’t begin to imagine the level of arrogance required to watch twelve regular diners walk out of your restaurant because you were too lazy to move three four-tops together on the patio. Truth be told, I felt really bad for the server that travelled there for lunch service, only to be assigned a completely empty patio. Their servers are exceptional and don’t deserve to lose a tip of that size due to an incompetent General Manager.
The good news is that we had an amazing lunch – at the other restaurant. It’s a fair assumption that this will become our diner spot of choice moving forward. As for the 3 Brewers, I can only hope they get their management in order. They won’t last long is they continue to alienate their most...

Last Friday night we visited three brewers Oakville with a group of 6 friends (the restaurant was not full)
one of us ordered RAINBOW TROUT, but unfortunately, her order was delayed more than 50 minutes, even though the waiter had told her that it was almost ready
Then the manager approached our table offering her excuses and offering us as compensation for the excessive delay not charge for the trout and a complimentary dessert for each one at the table
Delighted we accepted the offer!
When it came time for the desserts, the manager approached us and suggested to take 6 portions of an excellent cake that she had in the kitchen which was new and delicious and highly recommended, obviously excited by her suggestion we accepted
10 minutes later the manager comes back to the table and tells us that she had not noticed that the cake was sold out, but, not to be worried because she had a wonderful FRIED CHEESECAKE which was also delicious and that we should try this one
We accepted again!
5 minutes later the manager approached again this time indicating that she had also exhausted this dessert, but that for all the inconvenience we must left everything in her hands that she would personally surprise us!!
10 minutes later the waiter approached (not the manager) with a small plate with a WAFFLE and another small with a ball of something that we did not try ( remember we were 6)
We asked the waiter what had happened and why just 2 small dishes to which he replied, what would you be expecting a dessert for each one?
The manager never reappeared again and obviously, we paid and left very surprised with the only intention to never return to this place | Although we understand that problems and delays can be part of the business, when a trained manager and a waiter offers you a "cheap experience" trying to repair their previous mistakes, they really do not value...
Read moreService speaks volumes for any establishment, knowing the quality of service ahead of time i would have just ordered for takeout. The food was great but our server Jenia on March 12th was something else. After being seated and collecting drinks orders which took their sweet time making it to our table she came by to take our dinner order, then 15 mins later when our drinks arrived she came back and asked what kind of apps we would like to have, at which point we had to tell her we ordered 20 minutes ago, that she wrote it down and everything. "Oh woops sorry" was the response. After receiving drinks and almost exhausting them the manager ended up bringing out our food, cause i guess our waitress was too busy not taking care of our table. A quick stir of the dip to remove the layer of skin on it, you can tell immediately that it was made then got the heat lamp treatment in the kitchen till it was finally brought out. It was almost like she was drinking during her shift, i havent had an experience this poor since pre covid. After our meal it took absolutely forever for her to get us our bill, even after we flagged her down, she returns with the bills and they were all wrong. 🙄 like at this point i would have prefered to order and get my own food panera bread style so we didnt have to waste 30 minutes waiting to pay for our meal. She returns with the correct bills but forgets the machine. Like im really just at a loss for words, and your tip out of 3 cents total for the table reflected your shoddy service. Maybe she brand new or maybe getting back into the groove of things but id be ashamed if i had someone like Jenia representing my business. Idk who hired her but its very apparent she needs to be retrained. Word of a warning, if you are greeted by this server in the future, save yourself 2 hours of headaches and request someone else, we almost missed out 830 movie, when our dinner reservation was for 6. I still shake my head when i consider...
