Starbucks — Restaurant in Oakville

The worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. I ordered Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato. The barista was rushing me even though there were only two costumers behind me.

After making my drink, the barista told me that they ran out of the syrup which obviously is the key ingredient to this drink. He suggested adding caramel sauce instead and I agreed. The milk and the espresso shot were mixed which made me think if he bothered making the shot or just added some cold brew. I tasted the drink and it was awful.

I told the staff that I didn’t like it. They asked what do I want instead. Since I was craving this particular drink I said I want a refund. Then guess what, they went to the back and miraculously found the syrup!

It was a pretty lame...

My husband and I went this evening there and at 9.20 p.m. a girl employee started cleaning and banging the chairs really hard moving them around. We asked politely if they are closing and she said "no, at 10 p.m. only" but she continued to corner us with the cleaning, noise and putting all the chairs around us up on the tables. I totally understand they have to clean before closing I'm not absurd but we couldn't even talk because of the noise. You could really tell she was angry or something because she was slamming the chairs. So we decided to leave right away. I'm so sorry we went there. It's the first time this happens in a Starbucks and I wish that person would be told that what she did was...

I’m only writing a review to clarify a Uber review the store may receive. So I’ve never visited this store but have order through Uber for delivery at the office I work. So everytime I’ve ordered the coffee and foods have been fantastic. Today I believe it would’ve been fantastic as well. However it took uber drivers 30 minutes to decide whether to pick up an order. The only reason I’m writing is to inform the store Uber asked me to rate the order so the restaurant can do better! Sorry, to my knowledge this Starbucks is great. Uber should look at themselves and see what they can do to make sure when you order priority you designate a driver immediately...
