Tim Hortons used to be a place where you could expect friendly, quality service. If you advertise to potential employees that they would be joining a TEAM - then supervisors and managers should treat their staff with kindness and respect. You won’t accomplish a busy Sunday rush yelling at your employees. It’s counter active - and makes the stress of a rush worse. Tim Hortons should re-evaluate everything they are currently doing, but mainly their training.
UPDATE:
1.) went here with my 2 year old. We were both enjoying a donut, peacefully on the ledge inside. No yelling, tantrums, just sitting and minding our business. Employee leaned over the counter and said “you can’t stay here, it’s not for customers” ….ok? Then my question is, who’s this place for then?
2.) went through the drive thru and asked for a donut cut in half. They said no and that I could get a knife and do it myself. What? It takes 2 seconds. I have toddler in the back. You are telling me it’s acceptable to cut a bagel in half, a sandwich in half, but you can’t take a second and cut a donut? 1 star
UPDATE #2
Left my mug there by mistake. Went back to ask if they can check to see if it was placed somewhere. Refused to check! Just got “I was in the office today...
Read moreWould give zero stars if I could. This store does not care about the safety of their customers at all. They handed me a coffee through the drive thru window and the lid wasn’t on properly so it spilled everywhere and burned my hand pretty badly. My jacket was covered in coffee and still smells like coffee so it’ll need to be cleaned too. I’ve now escalated this to head office multiple times over the last week and the franchisee has chosen to ignore my concerns. I’m very unhappy. Go to literally any other Tim Hortons location, save your money and your skin from being burned.
EDIT: I would like to update my original review. There was a system error so the franchisee wasn’t provided my contact information when I filled out the form online. Once they received my information, the franchisee did reach out to me to check on me and try to remedy the situation. I am still working with the franchisee at this time.
Update: no further action was taken by the franchisee to fix the situation. I would avoid this Tim Hortons. There’s many other...
Read moreFirst time in 12 years in Toronto(GTA) had such extremely bad customer experience in Timhortons. This is the store that I do drive through all the time and today an employee called herself Naz( not sure if that’s her real name) passed me two fresh large dark roast black coffees in a tray without cup sleeves, I didn’t know that because every time I get dark roast black, employees give it with sleeves. It was extremely hot when I lifted the cup and I couldn’t hold it and I asked her why she didn’t put the sleeves then she started shouting that she refused to sell coffee! This first time ever I met such arrogant rude employee at Tims. Instead of simply putting the sleeves on she argued that it’s not her fault and when I asked for the receipt she ADDed to sleeves in the receipt which I refused because there was no sleeves when she passed the tray to me. I reported the incident while I was in the store and hope to hear back from the leadership. Such employe shouldn’t damage the kind and nice...
