Odd Burger — Restaurant in Oakville

I’ve been to many Odd burger locations and I will support the brand as it means a lot to me but this was the first time I was disappointed in the service. The man with glasses standing on the side 3rd day being open at busy dinner time, pointing with his literal finger orders at the employees, and calling out numbers with no care for customers - I was specifically waiting for him to say “thank you” to his customers, and barely even eye contact. Just number - hand the bag. Maybe my expectations are high, maybe I am protective of the niche vegan market, but this doesn’t represent customer service and especially not the kindness of vegans. If you want people to continue to be your customers - please appreciate them traveling to your store to spend money.

The food is passably good but the price is sort of outrageous. Yes they make their own signature patties and all that but the pay off isn't really worth it, especially compared to other businesses that make their own proteins. Nearly $18 before tip for a burger and onion rings of fast food chain quality (but full service dining price) is a bit absurd, and the drink options leave a lot to be desired so their combo deals do not feel worth it at all.

That said I think their bulk retail offerings are a much better deal, make your burger at home.

The service is very prompt and friendly, they do a great job and it's unfortunate how many places deliberately understaff in order to turn a profit, not sustainable.

Fine if you're in a pinch but definitely could be much better. However another vegan option in the area is always appreciated.
