Where do I even start? I got to the drive-thru the guy asked me if he could take my order then proceeded to yell at somebody in the back for 10 seconds because it was so damn loud in there. It sounded like a party was happening. Then I gave my order. I ordered a baconator combo. I ordered a regular chicken sandwich combo and I ordered a side spicy chicken burger with just ketchup and mayonnaise on the spicy chicken. They read my order back to me and immediately I had to correct the gentleman as he said a double baconator combo when I just wanted a single baconator combo. Then we get to the drive-thru window and the lady working at the window shoves the debit machine in my face without giving me a total amount. So I have no clue what I'm even paying for or how much it is. Then we get our "order" which contains one meal and two burgers. So we're missing the fries and drink from the second combo. We asked about it and they said sorry it never got entered into the order and eventually gave it to us. I guess my mistake for not checking the order immediately, but I just figured people would do their job properly and I wouldn't have to inspect every part of a meal to make sure it was all correct. But of course I get halfway home to Toronto and I realize my baconator is a small little dinky burger and my spicy chicken sandwich has zero condiments on it. Like you can see from the picture, like what even is that burger? There's nothing on your menu that looks or is made like that? Did you just put something together and hope I didn't notice? I'm not sure why it's so hard to get an order right?!? This is a constant thing with Wendys specifically! I'm beyond irritated at the quality control or lack there of that you guys all seem to have? Is $20 a meal not enough money for...
Read moreI have to be honest. Trying to attempt at working here was going to be the worst mistake of my life.
I handed in my application which was no issue but I waited three hours for an interview. Although on a personal level the manager was an amazing person I never have had the experience of overly waiting for an interview.
I was asked for training and although it was my mistake for missing two buses, walking the wrong direction and getting into an altercation with someone stealing my order at Tim Horton's. I actually wanted to still get hired.
I went up to one of the employees and she showed me the worst attitude. The manager is still really lovely and pleasant but I don't understand why a nice woman like her would have to deal with such unprofessional employees.
I genuinely only wanted to work here as a backup job because I ended up choosing a different company even before attending the interview or filling the application.
I may have said that I have always been a dedicated customer but the truth is I only ever applied here because I would invite my friends or a boy here. I never genuinely cared about this company for its products and only cared about the place for social reasons.
I honestly applied here out of whim. I don't understand why people would waste their time working in fast food. I'm not trying to belittle everyone just because I work somewhere else with higher pay or the fact my parents have a business.
I'm 24 and I had no intentions of ever working here in the first place. I only chose here so my family wouldn't third wheel with a guy that I like and so my family wouldn't third wheel with me and my friends.
Good luck with finding someone will better...
Read moreEither the microphone at the drive thru or the speaker that is on the workers' ears are not good. The staff had a hard time hearing my order. The speaker or microphone problems are not that big of an issue and so i would have given it 4 stars, but this lower rating is due to the fact that the staff got impatient with me and started being rude and disrespectful. Eventually when i was at the window picking up my things, i received my items before payment (which is fine). But when it came time for me to pay with my card, the staff member held the machine out of the window and continued her conversation inside the restarant. Once my card tapped, she pulled the machine inside and closed the window without even looking outside or letting me know that i was good to go. I waited in confusion until she opened the window expecting to see the next customer, and i got clarification that the transaction was complete. I was left speechless and will not be returning to this location again, neither will my friends who...
