1000 Islands Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ontario

Tried this place visiting out of town and was very disappointed, was warned by the reviews that the pizza was very watery and was not surprised that it came out watery. Topping the pizza with extra cheese does not make it a great pizza. It just makes it watery and disgusting. Toppings were very light and very disappointing and bland. I have seen the photos and do not understand the hype around the pizza here. The citizens of Brockville are suffering with this establishment thinking that this place offers the best pizza around. Go to a bigger city and actually experience local and non watery pizza. What a disappointment and a waste of money. Additionally, the service members were not friendly at all. Hopefully the owner takes things serious and takes feedback seriously. Seeing that service has been mediocre and pizza being watery and things still being the same means the owner does not care whatsoever. Good luck...

I remember hearing someone saying it was the best Pizza in Brockville according to a poll in the paper, and it lives up to the reputation. The sauce is flavorful, and it comes with an abundance of cheese. Local pizza in the area put toppings under/in the cheese instead of on top, which is a bit of an adjustment when getting pizza here, but you don't lose out on taste. They actually have a number of Italian, Greek, Tex-Mex and Burgers, but I haven't been able to pull myself away from ordering the pizza because it's that good.

When there's no pandemic going on, they have a small but comfortable dinning room, and they're located on King St. It would make a good stop for a meal on a downtown walk or a before/after a show at the theatre...

I really wanted the pizza to be good. Love to support mom and pop places but this was so disappointing. The pizza was very bland, swimming in water in the box and the bottom crust was like soggy leather. Their mission statement on their website really seemed like we’d be in for a treat but any chain pizza place could easily be better than this. All that was wrong with it are things the owners should have known and cared enough to correct. I think it’s the small town/ location thing where they get enough business to not worry about quality. Maybe the good reviews are people who ate in and the cook/ servers would have been able to sop up the water before plating. I had the vegetarian. Maybe pizza with meat is...
