Booster Juice — Restaurant in Ontario

So decided to grab lunch at Booster Juice in Orillia. Put in what I figured was a fairly straightforward order. Nothing extra added to 2 smoothies, plus 2 chicken wraps (ready made just put them on the press , heat and serve) Paid for the order with Mastercard. Waited for them to let me know when it's ready and lo and behold, 3 smoothies. So I pointed out that the order was 2 specific smoothies and 2 wraps and the girl promptly apologized and went to the register to provide my refund for the extra smoothie. This is where things go into the downward spiral. She fiddles with the buttons not having any clue how to provide the customer a refund. Minutes later she figures its a good idea to text the manager. Meanwhile 2 other employees are flawlessly processing the lineup of customers that accumulated behind me. While still waiting for a response from the manager, she asks not one but both of the other employees how to do a refund. The guy just looked with a lost look on his face while shaking his head. The other girl also told her she had no idea. Right. 3 people on staff and not 1 knows how to refund. So finally the manager is speaking with the girl on the phone trying to step her through the refund process as I watch my order entered and deleted a few times on the screen to no avail. At long last she tells me she will have to refund me in cash. Fine. Take the cash, grab the smoothies and the wraps, and before leaving I glance in the bag and what do I see? Not 2 but 1 chicken wrap. Seriously? Too many smoothies and now not enough wraps. So another apology and now I get to spend more of my valuable time waiting around while they grill the other wrap. At first she asked if I would like it cold. Umm no thanks. Well almost 20 minutes waiting I finally escaped Booster Juice with my correct order. Order...

Update 2025:

Chloe and Aaliyah served me this evening and they were absolutely wonderful. I expect nonetheless from the staff at this location. They've always been very great. These two young ladies were working very hard, fast and efficiently. They both deserve raises! Having staff like this keeps me coming back to this location. I will literally go out of my way to come here to visit and get the best smoothie in town as well of course. The wraps are delicious and always well done and I love the grill! Keep up the great work ladies! Thank you for making my evening a lot better than it was going.
