Hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever had in fast food.
Ordered through the app, which told me my food would be ready at the pickup counter.
I proceeded to stand there for over 20 minutes while neither the front counter person nor the manager running the drive through acknowledged me even a single time.
After 20 minutes and multiple walk up orders after me getting served their food, I had to stop the manager and force her to acknowledge me with an EXCUSE ME and asked for an update on my mobile order.
She then proceeded to find it on the printer for only the first time and start berating the kitchen staff for not making it, mentioning they needed to
It took another ten minutes while they continued to not acknowledge us to get our food. No offer of fries that were already made or even drinks we were waiting for to ride over my restless and hungry kids.
When the manager presented the tray with the drinks there was no apology or recognition of mistakes made or the lack of acknowledgement of humanity shown to us as a family. Just a “do you want three pies for compensation” (there were four of us).
In trying to raise my children to be kind and patient people, I figured I would wait until a better time to address the situation with a decision maker.
I reached out to Burger King canada, to inform them what happened and expecting a conversation with the franchisee.
I got an email back within two hours on a Sunday recognizing the gravity of the mistake and promising training and other follow up.
Not a thing since.
If you read my review history, I tend to make very very few negative reviews.
There’s no way I can give this location a pass. Frequent at your own risk, especially if your kids are hungry and you are looking for something to eat in a timely manner and to be treated halfway like a...
Read moreI've visited this location at Wonderland & Southdale a few times in the last year. However, the last 2 visits weren't good:
I ordered 2 Whopper Jr's with cheese from their order counter inside, but they were to-go. I received one hot burger, the other was COLD. Both had tiny, broken "bits" of lettuce on them. I drove back, went inside, and had to ask them to remake the COLD burger. They did, but it still had tiny bits of lettuce on it, and a terrible tomato slice (I threw the tomato in the garbage).
My last visit was on a Whopper Wednesday. I ordered the combo...thinking it would be just under $10. Surprise!!! She rang it in at full price, then discounted it by $4.20. It was over $11. I questioned it, and she said that was the reduced Whopper Wednesday price. I bought only the Whopper - which was over $9. I called a different location in London, and that manager explained that each location can charge DIFFERENT prices...even for their advertised specials. I would've paid under $10 for the Whopper Wednesday combo at his location. Everyone's watching prices now - just something to...
Read moreI went in because I was craving a charbroiled burger. The sign said two 1/4 lb burgers for $11. I asked the tattooed guy on the till what is the difference between a whopper and the 1/4 pounder? He tells me basically the mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. I asked, can I ask for mayo and tomatoes put on the burger? He said sure, no problem. I said, is this like a cheat so we get a great deal? He said, I guess so. The deal was so good, I decided to treat my self to an Ice cream as well. I got a bill for $17.16. I said what happened? He said “TAXES”. So I paid, when I got my receipt, it shows he charged .50 cents for lettuce and .60 cents for tomato, on each burger! I asked what the hell? He replied verbatim, “Oh, I guess I should have told you, I didn’t mean to rip you off.” I hope the $2.20 was worth losing a customer. PLUS the ice cream he gave me was so small, I think I lost weight eating it. It was $2 for two spoonfuls! Lastly, the 1/4 pounder was terrible. I believe it wasn’t cooked well. If I get sick tonight, I know how, where and when I got sick! I WON’T...
