I have always like Chipotle Mexican Grill; whenever I am across from Masonville Mall, or I am at Pet Smart nor Indigo Book Store at this plaza premises. I do like it here since they have a location in London, Ontario; and recently a second location at the other side of the city on Wonderland Road near RONA Hardware store. I prefer their Masonville location and even I did not went to their south of Wonderland Road location. I was there earlier on Halloween on October 31st, 2025, and it was Friday on that day. It was busy and there is a huge line up mainly students coming from the University of Wetsern Ontario with half of them in their Halloween costumes. The line of customers stretch from the cashier all the way to the door where you enter/exit Chipotle. I am glad to do a mobile order to avoid a long wait and have my Barbacoa bowl ready along with my red Chimichurri sauce. Mobile order saves a lot of time and you can get digital exclusive orders of the quesadillas. When I entered Chipotle earlier on Halloween Day around the afternoon (3:00PM, Friday, October 31st, 2025), the couple who just walked in and the line is so busy. I was behind the couple that they left less than a minute because the line up of customers is too long and busy. If you are on the go, but you do have the Chipotle App and pay with credit. I recommend using the app to save a lot of time and avoid the busy long line up. I won’t eat a Chipotle without it’s all mighty GUACAMOLE! Hopefully the guacamoles they get are coming from Mexico as I will not buy any products from California along with their tomatoes as I do support local Canadian and Mexican ingredients even if Chipotle is from the US. It is unique how Chipotle add adobo ranch dipping sauce, and recently the red chimichurri sauce. It is a commonly found in Argentine-Uruguayan sauce. I go for their barbacoa bowl as you get a lot of good portion for that price, and I could not finished it all at home, so I save it to eat later. You need to have the Red Chimichurri sauce on your next Chipotle visit including their Masonville location across from Masonville Mall on Fanshawe Park Road in London, Ontario. It never disappoints me even the downside of the reviews. I will be back at this location soon. The earlier you come, the fresher the food and the great the Chipotle is. I will be back here soon. Great Mexican inspired food especially students coming from Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School or Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School will drive all the way here for a rice bowl. Worth it! They have real Mexican Coco-Cola, and sometimes they have Molson Canadian or Mill St Brew glass bottles, too. Brewed in Canada. Jarritos from Mexico, too. I do recommend their fresh refillable juices beside their fountain drinks as it taste a lot better as a better alternative; for those who are not getting pop. It is worth the price what are you paying for at Chipotle and it is made fresh daily. It is best to have the Chipotle App. Happy Halloween and enjoy...
Read moreSave your money and go to one of the Burrito places, you'll get MUCH better value, service and quality. The last pics uploaded are from Barburrito.. twice the size, actual plant based ground, and no water... We were really looking forward to trying this place since we had never been there. Also, the Canadian website advertises plant based meat, but when we got there we were told they don't have it, it's only available in the US. When we were ordering the person taking our order was handed some online orders by a co worker and said "Omg are you serious?! I've got so much to do already!". It was 5 o'clock on a Saturday.. not sure what she was expecting, but this was the general attitude of everyone; very rushed, very much like the customer was an inconvenience. Make SURE you tell them several times to drain the ingredients that their putting on your order. I did 3 times and they didn't listen and I ended up wearing most of the liquid, which was pouring off my burrito onto my pants, interior of my car, shirt etc. I had to eat over a timmies cup to catch all the water coming off the burrito, which was also soggy as a result. My partners tacos were also soggy and dripping. If you don't like tomatoes, don't ask for the mild sauce. When we were asked if we wanted hot, medium or mild sauce he pointed to "sauce", but when we asked for mild he threw a scoup of pico on, which neither of us wanted, but was too late to remove. Again, no plant based meat as advertised on their web site, but they have a tofu thing which wasn't bad. Next to no meat in my partners taco. They wrapped all 3 tacos in a lump in foil... as a result they were all a soupy, soggy mess when trying to eat them. Burrito was small for 11 bucks compared to any of the other burrito places.
Overall terrible experience. For 25 bucks (1 burrito and 3 tacos) we have had MUCH better service and food Quality at any of the burrito places, and Barburrito actually HAS plant based meat.
DRAIN YOUR INGREDIENTS!! Some people eat in the car. You're just lucky I wasn't wearing good clothes or driving my Mercedes, you'd have got the...
Read moreOur recent dinner experience at Chipotle left much to be desired. It seems their inconsistency issues extend beyond just their portion sizes. Firstly, the portion of meat served never seems to be consistent, making it feel like a gamble each time we visit.
To add insult to injury, about two months ago, they implemented a charge for vinaigrette, which wouldn’t be so bad if they actually filled the ramekin more than a mere quarter and charged a reasonable price. Bringing attention to the minuscule portion only resulted in being charged double for a second one without any resolution to the initial concern.
Upon receiving the bill, we discovered we were erroneously charged twice for guacamole. Bringing this to the attention of the cashier, we were met with further frustration as she prioritized serving other customers before addressing our issue. As our food grew colder by the minute, the resolution provided was not satisfactory either; we were refunded a mere fraction of the overcharge, with the excuse that “this is what the computer says,” despite the discrepancy being clear.
Such lack of consistency and disregard for customer service is disappointing, to say the least. It’s disheartening when a simple dinner outing turns into a series of frustrations and disappointments. We hope Chipotle takes note and implements changes to improve both their service and consistency.
