the owner was kind and said they would talk to whoever about my service so that's good, if I was offered a free breakfast and a coffee when I came into town next time I might have tried 1 last time to see how I was treated but alas no offer for that. I arrive excited to eat a breakfast here, I walk in and there is 5 tables being served, the older blonde haired waitress sees me and another couple standing there at the entrance waiting to be seated, she ignores us and slowly and I mean slowly parades around not doing much, oh about 10 minutes later she says to another waitress, can you go to the front if you have time, the other one wasn't really doing anything either, just sauntering back and forth, so finally someone slowly walks over to the front and says, 3, and they said no just 2, so she says come with me and leaves me standing for another 5 or so minutes waiting, more like 10 minutes actually, ignoring that I am even there. I have disabilities, so I was frustrated to say the least and I wanted to sit to wait but I was afraid they would forget about me cause the seating is way back by the window. I move around a bit waiting patiently waiting, the blonde waitress sees me and starts oh folding napkins or something she wasn't doing anything, she knew I'd been standing there for about 15 minutes by now and ignored that I was even there. I couldn't believe it, who hires someone like this anyway, finally I get seated by her, then I sat there waiting for another 15 minutes just to be served anything. didn't even get offered a coffee or drink at all, I was just ignored, all the others got a drink and were taken care of but it was very slow for them too. so I finally had the young waitress arrive looking confused somewhat saying can I get u a drink, she says, I ask for a water and thinking if I tell her what I want to eat right away the food would arrive faster, nope, anyway from the time I arrived it took almost an hour to get my food, when the food was sitting at the counter ready to be served, the young waitress was at the front, fixing the menus with her back turned away from my food for like 5 minutes. finally the older waitress whispers quietly, she's been sitting waiting for almost an hour. oh by the way, I watched people before me and after and they were not waiting like I was. even the cook was standing there not saying anything looking for someone to serve my food. he could of said order up, or maybe the owner could buy a bell for the cook to ring when foods ready, idk, maybe you could hire a faster waitress. now when it was time to pay the bill, however, they were right there right away. the people getting seated after me were seated within 30 seconds, all of them and asked for beverages right away, I watched the whole thing unfold before my eyes, the blonde older waitress even was talking and laughing several times with a table of elder people after I was waiting for so long to be served. in my life I have never been so hungry or ignored. idk, you think she could of seated all of us at the same time, I'm just saying, I mean it was only me. but what do I know right. I should of walked out but I was so hungry. the food was great but the waitresses were not. I would not recommend coming here, unless you want to wait forever to be served or the chance of waiting forever to be served and oh 1 last thing I forgot to mention, I had to wear my winter gloves the whole time while waiting cause it was so cold in the building my hands had to be gloved. I have been treated badly at restaurants before cause I am only 1 but never ignored and left standing like this ever before. there was 3 waitresses and a dishes guy walking around the whole time, there is no excuses for this...
Read moreWorst experience I ever had first off we didnât wait to be seated our our waitress made sure to tell us that we shouldâve waited to be seated. Then the other waitress because we had two service dogs. Theyâre both emotional support. Neither waitress appreciated our dogs. They were not loud. They were not noisy. They were minding their own business and then the other waitress came and said well your dogs in the way it might be stepped on or something like this, then the other waitress came over and because we were taking a long time to decide what we wanted to eat. She persisted to let us know that the other people that came in after us were ready to order so they will be served before us because they knew what they wanted, which I thought was rude. My son heard this and he said she was very rude. All we had ordered was a soft drink and iced tea. Iâd never been treated like this at Dennyâs before I donât usually go at night. I usually go in the morning or early afternoon. I will never never go at night again at Dennyâs nor will I go in a long time. We did not feel welcome. We did not feel it was horrible horrible. They didnât appreciate our dogs. it was like they were gonna shit all over or something service dogs anyway Iâve been with my dog bear many times in the morning I guess at the beginning of the day the waitresses are better than at night. I donât know if the restaurant closes at nine the one off Benson and so they were concerned that they were having a lot of customers I have no idea But the one that was that was our waitress wasnât nice from the very beginning. She had an attitude and she wanted us out of there and guess what we got out she didnât even know how to punch in two drinks. I was trying to pay for a drink drinks and she didnât even know how to punch into drinks anyway Iâm not going for a long time I think itâs horrible. I have never been treated this way and I have been there with bear many many times And Iâve never never been treated the way I was treated anyway thatâs fine. Iâm sure youâll still make money...
Read moreBefore youb goto this dennys you may want to rethink it! I dont know if all dennys are the same now or if it because this one was "taken over by new owners" as per the female manager. Where to start cause this place is catastrophic....so my husband ordered his strawberry shake as per usual, he didn't get the extra in a tin as it's ALWAYS been and as it says on the menu in print....this is when she told us about new owners.....so you are now paying 7.29 for a milkshake half the size (just so you know). My husband's fish and chips come out pretty dark and not looking normal AT all (odd colored grease on the plate) couldn't break it upon hitting it on the plate....then there was my big bird sandwich with 2 thin slices of meat on each half with red running through the meat (looked NOTHING like the picture at all and the bread was so hard and it tasted VERY off (it was shameful)....then there was my sons order that hadn't arrived...we flagged the manager down and told her how horrible it was it wasn't edible....she never apologized just said I'll clear your bill I only have one cookđŽ. K first if all close down your damn kitchen and second of all I saw the microwave being used more than anything! We will NOT be going here EVER again cuz I don't believe this is how this franchise built their name! Oh yes and waitresses don't set the food down for you they hand it to you across the other person's meal! We wound up going to Harvey's for our dinner on Division Street....service was fast friendly and amazing....you'd be...
