HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT ORDER!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE. I FEEL LIKE I WAS ROBBED TONIGHT. I did not receive my order, and SkipTheDishes refuses to REFUND my money. Skip will only offer a Skip credit. But who would ever want to order from them again? I don't want to. This was my first experience with Skip. So, I have NO FOOD and NO MONEY to BUY FOOD (see my Trust Pilot review below).
I have gone to this East Side Mario's location before, in-person, and did not have any problems, but I ordered via SkipTheDishes delivery service tonight, for the first time, and it was A NIGHTMARE!

NEVER RECEIVED ORDER!!! Ordered via SkipTheDishes app, paid via debit for contactless delivery (Covid 19), specifically requested that the delivery driver buzz me first, and leave order outside my apartment door ###, and knock before walking away. I tracked the driver until he/she reached the front of my apartment building, and waited by my unit door with phone in hand. NO ONE BUZZED. NO ONE CAME TO MY APARTMENT DOOR. NO ONE KNOCKED. NO FOOD DELIVERED. I called East Side Mario's, they said to call Skip, so I did. I requested a refund ONLY and was told that he could ONLY offer a Skip credit. He suggested I contact online chat dupport. Same story...NO REFUND. So, over an hour later, I have no food, no more money, and DO NOT WANT TO USE SKIP EVER AGAIN. Chat Support said contact Skip via email. I've sent the email, but have since read some of the reviews. Since Skip is listed with so many reputable restaurants in London, I assumed there wouldn't be an issue. WRONG!!! I've also called East Side Mario's, who confirmed that they filled my order and gave it to the Skip driver. She will forward my complaint to management. East Side Mario's needs to recognize that their reputation is dependent upon ALL involved with their corporation. Your good reputation is dependent on ALL EMPLOYEES, including CONTRACTORS and SUB-CONTRACTORS.

Read moreFor anyone interested, all-you-can-eat pasta means all-you-can-eat in the establishment. I went to the restaurant today with my partner, who ordered all-you can-eat pasta. We have done this before, and we know that the subsequent portions are smaller so that patrons don't abuse the feature. Today, however, when my partner asked to take home what was left of the remaining pasta, our server told us that they don't give take-out boxes for their all-you-can-eat items. Our server then told us that they would throw out the food rather than let us take the meal away. There was about a third of a bread stick left; I asked if I could get a takeout box for the bread, and, incredibly, that was allowed!
I want to be clear: The food isn't that bad. The service isn't that bad. The prices aren't that bad (though they are a bit steep for what you get). What baffles me is the fact that the restaurant has taken such a wasteful approach to food. Read moreUsually I’m not one to write reviews but I had such a great experience last night with our server Joey, I had to recognize him for going above and beyond for us. From the moment we sat down at the table, he made our dinner at East Side Mario’s on Fanshawe Park an amazing dining experience. He took our orders without even writing it down and within seconds of having ordered, he brought our salads and another bread loaf (we had already finished the one he brought us when he first introduced himself to us). Even though we could tell he was serving so many tables we couldn’t keep track (the restaurant was packed), he made sure to frequently check-in on us and made sure we never ran out of salad or bread while we waited for our entrées to arrive. It was almost like he could read our minds about what we needed, he was always one step ahead of us which was very impressive. Overall, our dinner was perfect thanks to the over the top and very friendly service that Joey gave us that night.
