French's Stand — Restaurant in Ontario

My best advice for French’s is RAISE THE PORTIONS this is not what French’s was like about 3 years ago before the park construction you could get a poutine filled to the brim to the point where you couldn’t close the lid to the container for 7 bucks now you go there portions is cut by 1/2 or more like 2/3rds I would understand if the ingredients they used were fresh and taste good but this was Frozen Fries with packaged lukewarm gravy and admittedly good cheese curds. The pros: Service was good and fast and friendly. More issues I had was no seasoning not even salt on the fries which if your not putting it on at least put a couple packs out for customers. The only thing French’s has going for it right now is convenience with it being in the park but if you get rid of that I would just go to Costco to get poutine for the same price that is massive and tastes better. French’s staff and owner need to know that good food and good prices is what will keep people coming back otherwise this beautiful piece of Orillia history will die out with the new generations. I have enjoyed frenchies since a kid. But my experience today was awful. Frenchies has tables, and picnic tables that are supplied by the city of Orillia right around Frenchies. Which has allowed over 9 families to sit whike enjoying there delicious fries. When i went to sit the picnic tables were disgusting. I asked if i could get a cloth to clean them. I was then told no that the tables were the citys so they dont have to clean them. I then asked for a cloth. So the city has tabkes that there cuatomets use which will attract business and gives customers a place to wnjoy and they cant clean them. Well...we stopped at Frenches for an order of fires and a cola !!!! Costs us $5.75 and it took us approx. 20 minutes to get the order and the fries are on a paper plate thingie, not boxes as previously was the case and it was patheticely short in size, half of last years and was not hot as expected. I'm not sure who is running it this year but I can tell you we are not stopping there anymore! Who waits 20 minutes for simple order of fries for crying out load !!!!
