George's — Restaurant in Ontario

It was a SUPERB dining experience here. First off, I'll admit, the atmosphere when I came in wasn't all that great. Couple people (employees taking breaks) gave me an uninviting stare when I came in. However, as soon as I sat down, I was greeted with couple nice menus. I chose the Lunch menu for the Cheeseburger and the Fish & Chips (half size). The food came out promptly, and was AMAZING! The cheeseburger wasn't soaked in oil or grease, and the fries were nice and crisp without being too thin or too thick. The coleslaw was a nice add-on to add a bit of sourness to the whole mix! The server was generally nice. I was able to have a peaceful lunch, and was overall a pleasant experience! If this place just renovated, it would be a 6-Star experience. Recommended...

Excellent simple breakfasts which dont leave you over stuffed. Decor is - who cares really - its clean and the tables etc are clean. So the floor is cracked and broken down looking, I'd rather this than them piling a bunch of money into it and raising the prices, it would probably end them.

We just moved to Orillia in February and finally got out and about to try this spot. It’s definitely one of Oriliia’s hidden jems! The food was full of flavour and really nice, the service and friendliness even better! My wife and I were really happy we started our day at George’s Country Kitchen. We will definitely be back!!!! Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a home cooked meal done to perfection! Great service, great price, and very tasty...
