Me and a friend were coming back from a long day in Toronto late at night. We were starving so we headed in to London from the 401 to go to this Harvey’s location because it was really the only place open. When we got there we pulled up to the speaker and I asked if we could have a minute to look at the menu. She said “Ok”. After looking for a few seconds she comes on again and asks to take our order. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich combo and a crispy chicken sandwich combo both with Pepsi. We drive up to pay, and I tap my card twice and it declines both times. My friend then tries his card and it also declines. She then proceeds to tell me to insert my card into the machine which I did and the payment went through. I asked for my failed debit receipts and she insisted that wasn’t possible as the machine doesn’t do that. She then asks us to go and wait for our food and points out into the parking lot. I asked her 3 times exactly where but she never did end up answering me. After about 10 mins the food comes out, and I have my friend check everything. Well inside the bag was a buffalo chicken poutine and a crispy chicken sandwich. We drive up to the speaker and I say that the order is wrong and that I order a buffalo chicken sandwich combo and a crispy chicken sandwich combo both with Pepsis. She proceeds to argue with both of us saying no you ordered a poutine and basically getting mad at us as if we were in the wrong here. She offered to make the buffalo chicken sandwich again and asks us to pull up. Again at the window she is arguing with us and again getting mad at us as if we did something wrong here. She asks for the poutine back as she’s continuing to argue with us. So I just eventually had enough and gave her the whole bag back and said give me a refund. She didn’t like that either, and look quite disgusted with us. Well instead of refunding me money back onto my debit card, she refunds it all in cash and we drove off. Read moreMy fiancée and I rolled through the drivethru tonight primarily looking for one thing: their apple pies. It was supposed to be a treat for the day's hard work. Two apple pies, that's what we ordered. We roll up to the window to pay and the lady informs us that it will be a wait for the apple pies. "That's fine" we tell her. "Do you want a birthday pie instead?" "No I will wait for the apple pie." "Do you want the birthday flavour instead? It will be a wait for the apple pie." "What?" "Do you want the birthday pie?" "No, I'll wait, that's fine." "Are you sure? It will be a wait!" "Yes, that's fine, I'll wait" "Ok." We pay she hands us the bag a few minutes later, we leave only to get home and realise that she gave us the birthday pies. Why bother asking if you were going to ignore the answer for your own convenience? Did she misunderstand somehow after 3 responses? Or was this just willful negligence? And the birthday pies are not good, colourful but tasteless. Honestly we should have known better and just left when she kept trying to force the birthday ones on us but alas I attempted to assume the best and shouldn't have. Read moreIt was horrible today. I thought I scored when I decided to go in and order. (Only three guys ahead of me) The first gentleman was having trouble getting a staff to properly make his burger. (I understand we wear masks, but there was no eye contact or even attempt to ask sorry what was that? She just slapped on something else eventually he just said whatever I'll eat it. Then she put the food on the heating tray behind her and moved to the left to wipe the counters. The other staff making burgers was asking the guys who's order was who's and did they get the burgers while the drive thru staff handed out all their food. So they made the food a second time. And then by the time I got up everyone was confused on what I ordered...........I hate to leave a bad review but yall got to fix that. 40 minutes for someone who's 4th in line is excessive. Also there was a lady behind me with no mask and constantly cIearing her throat. It was on the way out so I just kept running for the hills. But for the 3 mins I was in there no one said anything.
