Hurricanes — Restaurant in Ontario

I brought my brother here last summer for his birthday and there was a small line we had to wait in to be seated. Once seated are server was a lady in her early fiftys and it took her 30 minutes to simply bring us are drinks and place are order. We where a table of 4 and we all ordered chicken wings a vary simple dish to make at that. To get strait to the point the service was absolute garbage and 1 hour and 30 minutes later went by and we seen plenty of tables come and go and get there food as me and my family sat and waited patiently. Threw out that 1 hour and 30 mintues of sitting there my server checked on are table 3-4 times and showed us no consideration - i also work at a restaurant and understand servers have to clear and check out tables but the fact that people came in after us and started receiving there platters before us was complete ridiculous. as me and my family sat there and just watched the horrible service and the server running around and passing are table multiple of times without even checking if we where fine and not even reassuring that are food was coming soon was complete HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! anyways after that whole wait I went to the front paid for the drinks that we ordered and we left. And we went to go eat at another place.

I will never reccomend this...

So as soon as we had our jalapeño popper app I knew something was off, the bacon had a strange taste to it and was bland in general.

I ordered the Chilli Cheese Chicken Burrito and what came out was a soggy burrito with melted cheese on the outside of it? The beans weren’t cooked, I assume they’re coming out of a can, you could have at least dried them before wrapping them up in the burrito.

When we complained we were told that it was supposed to be soggy because it’s chilli. This dude actually believes that sour cream, chicken, canned beans with the bean water, and a touch of tomato sauce is chilli. Some people are really not meant to be cooks.

I had this queasy noxious feeling the whole time I was inside and it was lifted as soon as I left. This place was good 8 years ago when I was still a university student which was the reason I came today.

TO CHEF MIKE: Your cooking skills aren’t the best, if you can watch a YouTube video it can teach you how to cook. Your food is making my stomach bubble as I write this, you’ve caused a hurricane to develop in my gut and it’ll probably come out as a tsunami later tonight.

This place has inspired me to start cooking at home because I can definitely whip something...

This was a place I used to love to come into on a pretty consistent basis in the past, but after this most recent experience, it's not a place I plan to ever go back to.

Came in with my family on a 2-4-1 Burger day. First thing I noticed was the seating and wait staff were all different (that was fine). Next, the pricing changed -- you now pay extra for your sides (that was fine as well).

What wasn't fine, was the huge "candy wrapper" that I found inside my burger🤮. I cut my burger in half just because I was given a steak knife (I don't normally cut my burgers) when I found it. I showed it to our waitress and she apologized and took the burger to go get me a new one. I got a new burger and there was absolutely nothing else done about it. Not even a free drink!!!! I was surprised we were charged the full value of the the meal dispite being served a huge piece of plastic. When she brought, it I said "You know that was a candy wrapper, right?" She apologized again trying to assure me that it was Saran wrap due to how the beef is stored (I guess somehow this made it acceptable 😕🤷🏾‍♀️)

Never heard of a restaurant over looking such a shameful stain on a customer's...
