I am honestly conflicted... My interaction with this KFC was initially horrible. I ordered my 10 peace bucket meal before 2pm and didn't get my order until 5pm. That being said, I recognize that this was not their fault, as they explained they were using an alternate delivery service that apparently got lost with my food. However, the customer service was lacking... The one lady was very kind but the other two people I dealt with actually asked for my name, hung up on me, then ignored my calls for a good 15 mins.
You're probably wondering, "after such terrible service, why the 4 star review?" We'll, because they did what they could to make it right. They remade my order and sent it out first in line with their personal delivery driver. Why they didn't use this driver in the first place is what boggles my mind, but nevertheless, my food was delivered after a 3+ hour wait and it was incredible. Plus, the kind lady threw in 4 cheesecake slices for the inconvenience which was kind.
Let me be clear, I gave this review 4 stars almost solely because of the food quality. I have had many a kfc chicken in my day and you win some and lose some, but this chicken was perfectly fried and battered. I had an even assortment of white and dark meat which I like and it all tasted incredible. The meat wasn't too greasy to but was also not lacking on the grease if you know what I mean. That perfect KFC ratio that you keep chasing but rarely acquire these days with many restaurants. If nothing else, this KFC makes good chicken.
See, this is why I'm conflicted... Because I want to order more great chicken from this KFC but I don't want to wait over 3 hours again. Yet, I don't see this as a fault of the crew members, but a larger problem with outside delivery services.

I went through drive through at around 3:15pn September 13th. The lady on the drive thru window was very disrespectful, rude, and demeaning. Iāve only eaten at this restaurant a handful of times years ago, as I was new to the menu sheād respond āwe donāt have that.ā āNo that isnāt a thingā ādonāt have thatā etc, I felt very uncomfortable and almost felt at that moment to drive away, however I continued to order in hopes the staff member at the window would be better. She didnāt give me a total, continue to say āis that it?ā āIs that it? Drive upā - no thank you, no total. And very rude. As I approached the window I told the young man working I was really disheartened by whoever was taking my order: he said āsorry maamā and proceeded to hand me my bag. Upon getting back on the road, I realized I had no cutlery, no napkins, and my food was ice cold. My pickle chips must have been sitting in the heater for hours, they were absolutely awful and I didnāt end up eating them.
This overall was a horrible experience and Iām so disappointed with the behaviour of staff, and lack of respect when it comes to treating customers well and packing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in there tonight around 6:30 pm. Drive thru had a couple of cars and there were a handful of people in the store when I walked in. The cashier was nice and doing her job when a woman came from the back telling her to stop taking orders, they're backed up. The cashier apologized and took another order. Mind you, SHE did nothing wrong. She took another order and I could hear the woman in the back talking to someone else saying "she's taking more orders, she better stop"
At this point, the people standing in line (including me) , were completely shocked as to how this woman was being completely un professional in front of customers. We were more shocked to find out that was THE MANAGER! She came back out again bringing the poor cashier girl down and degrading her. VERY unprofessional. A couple of men walked out and I went to the KFC on Bridge and wyandotte.
The managers name was Emily and she was unprofessional. I will NOT be going to that location. I wish i would have gotten the cashiers name but she did nothing wrong and we all felt bad for her. Fix your staff and show them how to be professional for your future customers who decide...
