KFC — Restaurant in Ontario

I had made an order January 14 2024 that totaled $70 for delivery that was never delivered to me. When I called the restaurant to make an inquiry they told me it was the driver at fault and that I should speak to him. When I did speak to him his defence to bungling the delivery was to call the police and he hung up. I then called KFC Corporation. They took my complaint and statement and gave me a complaint code 5HLHBS with an assurance that I would be compensated. It's now February 7 2025 and I have had to call KFC Corporate 3 times now. I just got off the phone with what I'll assume is the manager or franchise owner at 1326 Second St. East and was told that the Uber driver was at fault and that I should take the complaint up with them. Not once did she apologise or convey empathy. The lack of empathy and care is rather shocking. If you are in the East of Cornwall and you think KFC is a good place to dine? I urge you to look to your left or right because there is at least a half dozen other restaurants that you can throw a stone at and dine with the full knowledge that at the very least care and wants your return business. Shame on you KFC. You have been an established restaurant in this city since the 70's. I'll make damn sure that the people I speak to will hear my story. I hope they think twice when they are dining out and not...

TERRIBLE SERVICE, i walked in and the place was a mess and the lady by the counter was on her phone for 20 mins before even coming to take my order while i waited at the counter she knew i was waiting too, i paid for my snacker wrap and waited about 45 mins to an hour just for a snacker wrap, she also just randomly stood in the lobby for 7 mins on her phone before going into the back, then i finally got my snacker wrap and opened the wrap around it, the wrapper wasn’t even wrapped right and the actual snacker wrap wasn’t even wrapped, i had to fold it myself, i took a bite and it tasted terrible, the chicken and lettuce tasted absolutely terrible, the lettuce was definitely expired, the chicken didn’t taste right at all, i just threw it out and left. another guy came in and waited 5 mins while the girl was on her phone, he just left too. the girl that worked there was indian and she is addicted to her phone and she’s just overall lazy. the dining room was a mess like food crumbs and lettuce and sauce on tables and floors were messy and sticky too. their bathroom were absolutely disgusting. i will never be going back to this kfc ever again, the people are absolutely lazy there. absolutely disgusting and sickening....

We walked into the establiahment to observe a severely water damaged ceiling in the "lobby". The enterance way was nit shoveled, and there was a large mound of ice accumulated close to the enterance door. At a glance the dining room appeared to be clean, but a closer look at the corners showed there was not a lot of care going into the upkeep. The dining room was definitely out dated, and the exit door shock was not working which allowed the glass door to slam shut! Only a matter of time before it shatters. I made eye contact with the food handler in the service window, but was not addressed or greeted once...most likely because it would have interrupted the conversation he was having on his cell phone. As my children finished in the washroom, I continued to obersve the same food handler pause his cell phone conversation , examine his cell phone, pick something off of his phone, and toss it over his shoulder. We promptly left without being greeted or placing an order. Never to return. Also, advise anyone that wishes not to have gastro intestinal issues to avoid this place at all costs!!!
