Sunset Grill - A Breakfast Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sunset Grill, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a breakfast enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for places that serve a hearty, delicious meal to kickstart the day, and Sunset Grill did not disappoint.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is charming, with a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes you feel right at home. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here, from the cleanliness of the space to the thoughtful touches in the decor.
The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of breakfast options to satisfy any craving. I decided to go with the classic Eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, and the English muffin was toasted to perfection. My partner ordered the blueberry pancakes, and I had a taste — they were fluffy, bursting with fresh blueberries, and topped with a generous drizzle of maple syrup. Truly a treat!
One of the highlights of our visit was the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and it's evident that Sunset Grill uses high-quality, locally-sourced products. The coffee was another standout — robust and flavorful, it was the perfect complement to our meal.
The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring that our coffee cups were never empty. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived promptly and was served hot.
Another thing that impressed me was the value for money. The portions were generous, and considering the quality of the food and service, the prices were very reasonable. It's a place where you truly get what you pay for and more.
Overall, Sunset Grill exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely breakfast with friends and family, this place has something for everyone. I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings. Highly...
Read moreJust moved into the neighborhood couple months passed. Been loving eating here, though the home fries need some spicing up the rest has been fabulous, almost. I just came out for breakfast, solo. Was seated at my table waiting to order as the kitchen guy (super nice, polite) let me in 5 min early. I no sooner got my snow gear off, and sat down.. this lady came storming I to the restaurant late, chastising me about ( a customer) about being in the restaurant before she has had a chance to count her till. She demanded I vacated the restaurant, and waited the now two minutes outside, in this year's record snow storm. Twenty centimeters plus fell last night. I just came from shoveling my mom's car out so she can get to hospital for dialysis(not pertinent). This nice lady then went off on the kitchen staff guy right in front of me (who was at work on time and had things under control) about me being in the restaurant a couple min before she got there late to count her till for the day. I redressed and she chastised this polite man, and trudged my way over to Tim Hortons( a whole 30 Meters) to get out of the snow. The ladies here were super nice. I had my breakfast in under 2 minutes, coffee eggs beacon sausage all on a convenient tasty homestyle biscuit. The home fries here were actually pretty darn good if you like em in a patty(I prefer a traditional homefry). Like what I went to get before I was insulted, and made to stand outside looking in the window like some vagrant Tiny Tin on Christmas Eve Morning. I'm not angry. I am disappointed. I really liked this place so far. The Staff I have dealt with have all been absolutely amazing, beyond expectations. This lady today was the exact alter ego of what I've come to expect and I won't be back for a while I believe. My family neither. Well wait in hopes this gets sorted. Someone needs to explain manners, hospitality, etiquette and customer service to this nice lady, as I haven't the time or patience as a paying customer. I have to teach my own kids, who already know better. I'm Quite sure this would suffice. Merry Christmas all.
Thank you...
Read moreFirst and last time eating here! For the prices, the food you get is not nearly adequate! This is how our experience went, firstly we ordered the “double chocolate chip pancakes” which the menu states is supposed to be made with 3 different kinds of chocolate chips, topped with chocolate sauce and dusted with icing sugar- what we received was regular chocolate chip pancakes? Where’s the sauce, the sugar and the CHOCOLATE CHIPS?!! My daughter was super disappointed when receiving this. Second, I ordered the strawberry cheesecake French toast, what i received was “French toast” that was actually barley cooked, the entire inside was yellow from eggs, wet and soggy and not cooked at all! RAW eggs! Had I known I’d spend $17 on French toast for it to be not cooked and a risk of salmonella I would have just made it myself, and not only that but the small scrape of cream cheese on the bread is not nearly enough to call this menu item a “cheesecake French toast” you need cream cheese to do that! $17 this was, you’d think there would be enough to taste it. Super disappointed! Unfortunately we won’t...
