If I could give them a 0 out of 5 stars I would. I ordered a three piece meal from them on Dec.4th in the evening and after I paid I started walking through the mall and almost made it to Hot Topic when I hear someone yelling and chasing after me saying my payment didn't go through which was embarrassing. I had told her I could have sworn it did and she said to me "no it didn't go through, always double check before leaving." I went back with her to the stand and paid. I checked my online banking today and noticed that I was charged twice. The first transaction in fact did go through ($18.65), but the second one she had actually charged me more ($18.87). When I called today and explained the situation they for one didn't believe me and asked if I had a receipt and I told them I was never given one. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me he wasn't in. It wasn't until I told them that I would call mall security to get the footage of her chasing me and that my bank would be investigating the charge if they weren't willing to do anything then suddenly the manager was able to speak to me. He told me he could refund me if I brought proof with my bank statements and came to the mall (which is a 25-30 minute drive for me). I showed up to the mall and showed them my bank statements; this is where the same lady tried to scheme me again while the manager was there. I should have been refunded the $18.87 as my meal costed $18.65 and she charged me more the second time around, but instead she tried to say I ordered a side of soy sauce then when I told her that was a lie she then told me that's how much the 3 piece meal cost; I told her I didn't trust her and to ring it up in front of me the cost of the 3 piece meal, it was in that moment she throw the other 20 cents down. To me it's not about the money, it's about integrity and character and there was and is absolutely none here.
I WOULD NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AND RECOMMEND NOBODY GOES HERE OR SUPPORTS THIS KIND OF BUSINESS THAT PROMOTES THIS BEHAVIOUR.

Read moreI do not really eat at ManchuWok at Masonville Mall, but my brother bought their food there and he said he found a piece of hair. He did not somehow complained about it as he just throw it into rubbish. At least have the staffs wearing hairnets while on duty serving food to the customers at Masonville. Their food does not seem the the quality is there, and you get what you pay for. I would rather go to WokBox just across the from Masonville Mall beside Best Buy in Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road for their food nor Mandarin buffet restaurant on Hyde Park. If you want real Chinese/Asian authentic food then go to Sugar Marmalade or Congee Chan restaurant on Wonderland Road behind Costco. After hearing this story from my brother. I will not buy any food from the food court at Masonville Mall. Even it is a clean mall, but the food and quality taste worse than Worcestershire sauce. That is why I always buy food from Chipotle, Five Guys and a Burger and whatever just across the mall since it taste way better than the food court. No offence, I hope you can improve the cleaning and make it avoidable not have a single hair on any customers’ food. I don’t go to Masonville Mall too often but only in rare occasions. Nothing special about the food court nor Masonville Mall at the end. Just be aware of your spending and not have bad experience. If you cannot accept what you get from ManchuWok at Masonville then take your business...
Read moreIf you are lactose intolerant/vegetarian/vegan stay away. Everything is contaminated with, or contains dairy, eggs and meat. I was assured my meal would be free of egg and meat and nearly threw up when i discovered that was not the case. After addressing the issue and requesting a refund I was then informed by a more senior staff member that none of the meal options were safe for my consumption and that I would not be given a refund. I then demanded to speak to a manager and was told that the manager was unavailable, so I demanded a number through which he could be contacted. I was given a phone number after much debate amongst the staff, and after threatening to go to mall security I was finally given a refund for the food I couldn't eat. The number I was given never worked and I am currently awaiting response from the food chain head office regarding the staff's lack of knowledge regarding food allergies, and the unwillingness to provide a refund or proper managerial contact information. Every time I walk past this place I feel sick to my stomach. If there were an option to give zero...
