We had an incredible dining experience at this Japanese teppanyaki restaurant in Masonvill Mall food court! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish cooked to perfection, even we have specific request for fits my little boy preference, I dont feel pressure. Children friendly 👍🏻The highlight of the meal was definitely the takoyaki, spring roll and tempura shrimp—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, just the way it should be! Also, stri fry rice with chicken very yummy too.

If you're looking for great food and warm service, I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to...

I had such a great experience at Koya! The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the staff were really friendly and helpful without being over the top.

The food was honestly amazing—everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I tried the udon and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. The broth was rich and comforting, and the noodles had that perfect chew. The sushi was also on point—super fresh and nicely presented without being fussy.

It’s clear they really care about quality here, but it doesn’t feel pretentious at all. Just good food, good atmosphere, and good service. Definitely a spot I’d go back to, whether for a casual night out or a little treat-yourself moment....

I was shopping at the mall today and lost track of time, forgetting that the food court closed at 5. I was feeling hungry, so I asked Sue and her friend, who were working at Koya, if there was anything they could make for me. Despite the food court being closed, they were so kind and accommodating. They told me to wait just five minutes and went out of their way to prepare takoyaki for me. Both of them were incredibly friendly, sweet, and welcoming, creating such a warm atmosphere. I really appreciated their generosity and the extra effort they put in. It made my day so...

This place was okay. Great customer service however they lost stars because the chicken was already pre-cooked. It did not taste fresh as it was already dry (ex. The edges were hard and it was like rubber when I was chewing it). I usually get this dish in other teriyaki places and you can see them stir fry fresh chicken. I feel like they mask the dryness and the already cooked state with the sauce they put on top of it and when they re-heat it on the cooktop. If it was fresh, I don’t think it takes less than 2 minutes from when I paid to receiving my dish to say it’s freshly made.

Got the takoyaki (octopus balls), and they were really good! They kind of reminded me of spring rolls, but more soft on the inside. The brown sauce they have at the bottom of the container is supper yummy! I made sure to cover my food with them. It was even interesting to find little octopus tentacles on the inside of the fried balls. I just found it really weird that the flakes that they top the food with was moving on it’s own with no wind, but I would eat it again!
