Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Ontario

I went to the Dundas location shortly after they opened to get fresh food and the service was terrible. I went in and saw quite a few customers sitting down over in the corner. I placed my order but I did notice only one working the counter and one working the back. After he took my order he went to the back to help the guy get the orders ready and placed them on the counter. After some time he finally came around and started giving the customers that were sitting down that where there long before me give out there orders. As he was distributing the orders 2 customers walked in but as they saw what was happening they both left and he didn’t even acknowledge them when they walked in. I finally saw my order put up and ready to serve but he was still giving out the other orders so it was there for at least 15 minutes just sitting there. When I finally got my order home it was cold and the taters looked like they were from the day before and when I tasted it I threw it out. The chicken wasn’t even correct. I got the batters box which I upsized all my chicken but I did ask for 2 side breast which I only got one. I also asked for 2 pieces to be honey barbecue but not the side breast and they still put it on the side breast. None of us were happy with the food when we tasted it so it all went in the garbage. I have never been so disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. If I could have got a refund then I wish I could have. Come on...

So i called the management, for the issue below. He said he was embarrassed reading my review. He insisted the salads we got are the ones that go with the 18 pcs of chicken. Saying we must be very big eaters. Then he went on to say well actually he can eat a whole salad by himself. Then sugesting we must have ordered all white meat, which was not the case. So how are we suppose to share with 5 people? He is giving us 20% off next meal and 2 free salads. REALLY? We would rather go to pop eyes or KFC. The salads were super tiny to go with 18 pcs of chicken, but the concern was the 9 wings we got and the rest was tiny dry pieces of mean and all we Get is 20%off and 2 free salads? And he gave me the wrong phone number to call.

First time at mary browns i would have given 5 stars. This week we ordered 18 piece meal to bring to the hospital to share with family as one of our family member had been there a lot this past year and again had an over 5 week stay. We got 9 wings in an 18 piece meal. And all the other pieces where small and bony, we only got 2 small salads and a small gravy to go with 18 pieces of dry meat. Enough salad for 2 ppl. Generous portion of taters. Super disappointed. We paid over $60.00 for 18 DRY pieces of meat mostly little wings. $60 is great to feed 5 ppl. But...

The first time I went there the service was fast and the chicken was amazing but when I went there again recently it was horrible. It wasn't busy yet the service was so slow. The chicken tenders tasted like they've been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. They were very dry. Asked for extra seasoning on the taters to get no seasoning at all. My mom got the three chicken meal deal and I swear they gave us the smallest chicken pieces we've ever seen. Not worth the money and we will definitely not return.

Went again to give them once more chance and they have definitely gone cheap. They charge for the thighs and gave a drumstick that was half the size of a can of pop. When my mom brought it up to the worker she said "That's the average size of drumsticks." like we were stupid or something. No that is not the average size. Its the average size if you order chicken wings but not for an actual two piece chicken meal. Once again they ignored the request for extra seasoning on the taters and the chicken was very greasy.

I wouldn't recommend this...
