I had the worst experience ever with the north front Street store. I had used a delivery service Quinte delivery who was excellent throughout this ordeal. They picked up my order but they couldn't check it due to hygiene concerns. I was missing items I was told to phone McDonald's. I did and had the misfortune to talk to a lady named Heaven. Well Heaven she was not, she told me I could drive their to pick it up or get a voucher in the mail. I said I had a few drinks and could not pick it up, and had guests that would not eat because a voucher was out of the question. I asked how I will get the items that I should not have to pay delivery for their mistake. Heaven said we don't do that, meaning basically it's my problem they screwed up. She again suggested I drive. I replied are you suggesting I break the law to get the items u failed to put in the bag. I told you why I used a delivery service. I then said you need to call the delivery and give them my items that I paid for but didn't receive. We don't do that she responded. I said then how do I get my items that were paid for but not delivered with the rest. She again suggested I drive or get a voucher. I angrily said now this is the 3rd time you told me I should break the law to get items I paid for also paid a delivery service to bring that you did not give. Why is it my fault you failed to do your job or the delivery services job to go back on their dollar to get items you didn't give. I told her you don't do to much to fix a mistake you made but suggest I drink and drive pay for delivery again or make the delivery service pick it up but they pay. I asked for head office number she would not give it to me. I asked for her senior management she had told me he would call. Well I have yet to hear from them. I called the delivery service and asked them to pick up my items that I would pay again because I couldn't have my guest not eat. They sent someone right away and Quinte delivery service refused to except payment. They saved the day here. McDonald's sucked so bad and heaven who was not willing to fix their mistake in anyway at all or even try was the most frustrating person in a management position I ever had to speak to. The last job on this planet she should ever have is in the customer service industry or as management of any kind. I'm certain the real manager will never call and why should they. I and the delivery device fixed the issue McDonald's created and refused any responsibility for. I don't write bad reviews ever but I had to this time only because McDonald's and Heaven ruined what is supposed to be a pleasant experience but was really a nightmare. I was also shocked that they missed $20 in items and it was everyone else's responsibility to fix it. But of course I could drink and drive or wait for a voucher to get it. If you use the drive thru don't move from the window unless you check that all the items you ordered were theref. I like the food have nothing negative to say. Read moreI find it funny that at any other restaurant, if we recieved cold food, most customers would complain and ask for it to be either re-heated or another order to be brought out. Before I proceed further, let me say that I am more than aware of the old saying "you get what you pay for" and that spending ten bucks on a fast food hamburger and expecting five star food is simple foolishness. I get that. I am also aware of the concept of "fast food" and the inherant problems that it brings with it. But, that does not excuse the fact that chicken Mcnuggets are supposed to be hot. What I recieved was not hot. It was not in the same postal code as hot, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't even in the same country. But I digress, my point, thus far, being that while I can appreciate that effectively running a fast food restaurant such as McDonald's does require the customer to have a certain level of give, but I could have bounced my nuggets off a brick wall.
Okay, onto part two, which is kinda a big one for me personally. I know a guy. Guy's name is Rick. Really loves Szechuan Sauce. He wanted some to try and make up for his rubber ball nuggets. Guess what? Wasn't any sauce. Again, I get it, it's sauce, who gives a s*? Crazy guy who can blow up the universe is who. Point being, CARRY SZECHUAN SAUCE. Pretty simple.
Finally, lemme be frank in saying that this is in no way a knock against the employees, who were very friendly and curtious as well as very fast with getting the orders through. Good staff, so good on 'em.
In conclusion, good staff, cold nuggets, no Szechuan.

Read moreOn 03/07 I went to the drive thru to pick up some food during my work break. I ordered a habanero mc chicken meal (drive thru order 438). First I got coke with ice where as I had ordered coke without ice at the drive thru window. The drive thru rep replaced that and I got back to work. When I checked the food it was a MC chicken burger with mayo and not habanero sauce. I came back to the store and asked her to fix it which she said she would. During the conversation I just told her that I had to waste my time coming back to which the rep replied that she wasn't the one making the order. I told her I don't care who was making it but I had to waste my time. To this the rep responded she doesn't care either. Im shocked to see that instead of apologizing for the mistake she was being disrespectful. Later the burger was given to me by another rep, I asked the name of the previous rep I was talking to and that wasn't provided. Then the manager Simran came and apologized for the mess up and also offered a refund. I declined the refund as I did not want a refund but just wanted to be treated respectfully. Just to be clear Simran was very respectful and definitely deserves her manager position but the drive thru reps need to be more respectful. They need to start caring if they don't care about things.
