My partner and I had been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! It was busy on a Friday evening (as expected) but the host was very helpful and we were seated quickly. Service is laid back, attentive and friendly. Everything was amazing, from the beer to the food. They also have affordable cocktail and wine selections. The sourdough bread was delicious and it is great whenever you can safely order your burger medium (they grind their own beef). We love that they do have actual sour beers, which most places don't offer. There are vegetarian selections as well. The space is physically accessible (although bathroom door is not automatic, assistance may be needed). Women's bathrooms provide information to offer support for sexual harassment (which is a concept I LOVE and APPRECIATE.) Security is also provided here. We look forward to becoming regulars here! EDIT: I've now been a regular at Milo's for over a year. They have done exceptionally well to assure that diners and staff are as safe as is possible given the COVID circumstances. Kayla is the best. Much gratitude from Katie and Ange :)

Stopped here on my way cause I'd heard good things about it. They have a nice beer selection. The service OK. Our food took a long time like 40 minutes which is a little long considering we were the only ones in the restaurant on a late weeknight evening. The food however was not good. The chicken parm sandwich had an off taste from the cheese and the burger had a very pungent beefy taste not in a good way. The fries and aioili were good but the actual burgers were very disappointing. This was extra annoying considering the prices for this place. The prices are very high even compared to many places downtown Toronto and the tip machine starts at 20%? I dont see how they justify it. I can't recommend this place whatsoever.

Last Friday night, we had the pleasure of visiting Milo’s Craft Beer Emporium. This was our 4th time, but our first time since the pandemic started. The restrictions were finally eased, and we were able to go out for a fun evening. We definitely weren’t disappointed. The service, beer and food was amazing! We felt extremely safe as all of the booths had plexiglass around the 3 walls, the staff wore double masks and shields and the other tables were spaced out. It was lively, felt almost normal (except for the masks), but it felt really nice to be out again. Our server was very chatty and we got to meet Milo too, who was very friendly and appreciated our business. We will be back! Thank you for a great night out!

Given my experience minutes ago I will never return to Milos. The location was 25-30% full at most, its 5pm sure, maybe it's a transition in staff so there may be a 5 minute wait or a little more then average, which I would be more then ok with. The sign read "Please seat yourself" which a colleague and myself proceeded to do. The booth closest to the doors in the bar area to be exact. A bartender i had on a previous visit made eye contact as we sat ourselves and I assumed we were in good hands. Or so I thought. 5 more minutes passed and a new client entered the store, he was met by staff not long after he got inside was walked to a table followed by a prompt beer delivery with menus. Hoping maybe as the servers made there rounds this time and sitting very impatiently we hoped this was our time to be acknowledged. Again nothing. Only to see this gentlemen who arrived after us to be followed up with 4 glasses and a jug of water. Finally we had a server attend us if that's what you would call it... with an unimpressed voice and body language he took our order like it was inconvenient for whatever reason. When our beers arrived I said we would like to return the favour for wasting our time and left. The management and staff on at this time should all be embarrassed, they were all basically " hanging out" around the bar while making the odd walk around the restaurant. If I was an owner or manager I would be embarrassed. Generally I would bring this to the manager on duties attention but he was just as bad as anyone else shooting the breeze with his buddies at the bar and twiddling his thumbs. I made a comment under my breathe but clearly loud enough to be heard about how embarrassing this service has been this far and he just decided to avoid to hard to deal with situation and carry on with his day. The management here has 0 accountability and is clearly just looking for a place...

So here's the deal with this place, the beer is great and an amazing rotating selection. If you're into that it's good, but you'll find that even in many if the honest 4 star reviews they say the service is lacking, and this is very much the case. I don't ever suggest coming here when going out with my friends however some of them are quite enamoured with the atmosphere and beer selection that I've eneded up here many times over the years. We even had one time we were seated on the patio at a slow day with maybe 3 or 4 tables of people and it took 20 minutes for a server to see us after we had been seated. Their priority is beer selection and seeming like a cool place to be. If you're your own self advocate and continually flag down your server you'll get average service, but don't expect them to check in on you with any regularity. You can have 3 people with empty glasses and your server will walk by several times and seemingly not take note to stop by soon until you flag them down on their way by. For some that's fine for others it's not. Reading through the other comments you'll see that. Whenever I don't go here for a few months and were headed back I go in with optimism hoping that more experienced staff may be doing a better job. But sadly it's never been the case. Service is always somewhere between terrible and mediocre, the food is somewhere between okay and amazing depending on what you buy. The atmosphere is almost always good. The beer selection is great. The prices are a little high. Depending on what's most important to you in a restaurant / pub experience will determine if you love or...

I only ate here because one of the people I met up with for dinner wanted to eat here. They had eaten here before. It ended up being one of those restaurants that you "pay" for because it is considered trendy. The staff are very nice. They have an extensive beer list (I do not drink beer so that was not a plus for me) but their menu is limited....and pricey. Not only is it limited, but the ingredients of some of their dishes are different. I chose the buttermilk chicken thinking I was going to get a nice "homey" dish. I ended up with three VERY small pieces of chicken that had very little meat on them. About 8-10 small brussel sprouts with a turnip mash (which was just a glorified smear across the centre of the plate). I don't really care about presentation. I want food! All for $24.00. It did not take me long to eat it and I could have then eaten dinner...again. The food tasted good, don't misunderstand me. I just needed more of it. Needless to say, I will not be going back because when I go out to eat, I not only want good company and nice staff - I would like to feel that I got my money's worth. Even if it is pricey - as long as I got enough food to more than fill me up. Milos didn't do...
