Overall very positive experience. Will visit again. Kudos to staff!

Update Now for the upcoming Diwali season, they have a stall inside the supermarket where you can get your hands painted with henna.

Location Very conveniently located in Walker Towne Centre near Walker Square. Plenty of free parking spaces .

Interior Very spacious, well lit, neatly organized shelfs with broad aisles for ease of movement. Lot of room for shoppers to move freely with trolleys (no deposit required). Shelves are neatly stacked and properly labelled

Merchandise

Mainly catering to South Asian population. The main sections are Fresh Produce Frozen Items (including vegetables, prepared Roti etc) Packaged groceries (mainly used for cooking such as rice lentils, oil, snacks etc) Household appliances (including buckets, brooms. mixers and dishes) Sports goods (limited) Pooja (Worship) items (includes a variety of Pooja mandaps) Fresh food and tiffin ( Idli, Dokla, noodles)

Customer Service The best part is the excellent customer service. When I requested for replenishing some of the vegetables, the customer service staff (Simran) was more than happy to bring a fresh box of the vegetable i requested. Simran was very pleasant and inquired if she could assist me to select any other vegetables. I had similar pleasant experience with other staff including the one who served me at the food counter as well as the check out counter.

Amazing experience overall, and I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy some South Asian items to definitely...

I have taken Gujarati tiffin service from Namaste store. I would like to say that there tiffin services are really good, there delivery driver is very punctual and responsive, respectful to any issues and concerns. Also the gujarati cook holds really nice cooking skills, she always gives some chef speciality every week. They have variety of menu's changing every week with proper indian masalas and fresh vegetables used for cooking. Tiffins are microwave safe making it convinient at work with properly packed flat breads to avoid it from drying. I have been using there tiffin services now from 3 months and it's been so wonderful experience till now, there have been issues but they have always resolved it actively considering the complaints so that makes them standout in my viewpoint. They have really budget friendly price in gujarati tiffin which is providing 2 big containers of veg sabzii with 8 rotis. All in all my final wordings will be if you're a student, working individual and looking for a budget friendly and tasty gujarati/punjabi option this is a must try...

Yesterday I went to the store for UNDHIYA from one of my friend's review as she told me that they have today fresh undhiya in the morning and its really nice in taste as well as in quantity 2 persons can definitely have at their dinner. But when I went there in the evening, the girl employee gave me the quantity which you can see in the box and the the cost was $ 8 plus tax and the second thing is that when my another friend went there to get the same , the another boy employee has packed enough quantity for her but the girl employee who served me she took him back in the kitchen and reduced the quantity from the box. My friend was literally seeing all this and she had to get 2 boxes because she didn't wanted any of the issue in the store on behalf of the customers. They don't have any measurements like lb and pound. They just pack by their own.

When I came back at home I saw this and called in the store 2 times and left my name and number but didn't get any reply back. Would not...

I’m a regular shopper at Namaste Indian Supermarket, but I was really disappointed this time. I bought frozen curry leaves and green pigeon peas on Sunday, Oct 26, and when I opened them at home, both were spoiled. I couldn’t return on Monday due to work, so I went back Tuesday morning. The staff called the owner or manager and told me that since it was past 24 hours, nothing could be done. There was no apology or accountability for having spoiled food in their shelf — just repeated mention of their “24-hour return policy.” They did replace the curry leaves with a fresh bunch(fresh bunch is half the price of frozen), but not the green pigeon peas. I was disappointed not only with the spoiled items but also with how the situation was handled with absolutely not a single apology from the staff throughout the entire interaction. I hope they remove these products from their shelf. I have attached pictures below.
