Starbucks — Restaurant in Ontario

I've been coming here almost daily for a few years now so I think I have a pretty good feel for the place. I would have given it that last star but for a couple of reasons I did not. 1. The staff seem to be oblivious to the customer who has been standing there for five to ten minutes waiting for their drink and then they realize they didn't even make the drink for various reasons. 2. Although you could consider me a part of the fixtures there, I'm still a customer. And while I have been treated as such for the most part, on occasion I've felt like the staff has taken me for granted via forgetting my drink, getting the transaction messed up and not fixing it properly and thinking I should deal with it. Sometimes the staff would rather socialize rather than concentrate on work. It really should be, "Business in the front, party in the back." I'm not saying they should not joke and have fun, that's a good part of what makes it an enjoyable atmosphere--again, this doesn't occur on a moment by moment basis but it does seem to occur almost daily--but no matter how often someone comes to your establishment and you have established a good relationship, there is a line that should never really be crossed where the customer feels that way. We had just finished off some Starbucks coffee from a previous location and stopped in to this one as a quick bio break. I also wanted some ice water as it was incredibly hot outside. I asked how much it would be and they gave me one at no charge. I was thrilled as they were so nice. This is why Starbucks earns my loyalty.

It is wayyy to expensive nowdays to get an espresso based coffee concoction here and they are all wayyyy too sweet even though I ask for one shot/pump of syrup. You guys need to cut wayyy down on the sugar... Make certain drinks slightly bitter and slightly sweet because that is a beautiful and satisfying play on flavour. Even when I get half a shot in my mocha or latte it is still too sweet!!! Rethink...
