First time here. Definitely will not be my last. Happened to see it while I was visiting a business across the street. On my way into the building, I could smell the inviting aroma of their food wafting across the parking lot. I was pretty hungry and ordered a steak sandwich, only realizing after I placed the order that they were set to close in 20 minutes. No worries... the staff happily accepted my order. I'm pretty high maintenance when it comes to how I like my food prepared, so I asked for modifications to both the main course and side dish. These modifications were accepted and a PERFECT product was delivered to my table within a few minutes. Their 8oz steak sandwich was delicious, and the steak weighed close to 8oz even after cooking (I weigh my food, so yes, I am sure). The side salad would have included extra ingredients, had I not asked them to withhold them, but even then, I was surprised to find a remarkably fresh assortment of green lettuce, spinach, cabbage and cucumber. I can't tell if there was also some kale, because I don't really know what kale looks like - there was one leafy item I could not identify.
Anyway, everything was delicious, the price was more than reasonable, and I felt no pressure to hurry through my meal, despite me being there for 20 minutes after the restaurant's official closing time.
I wish I had thought to photograph my plate, but I was too hungry to wait. The presentation...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I have eaten at about 9 breakfast places in Windsor, and Paul's Kitchen is HANDS DOWN THE BEST ONE. We have eaten here about 20 times and have never been disappointed. Their breakfast menu is fantastic with some of our personal favourites being the eggs benny and crepes with fruit. Lunch is spectacular - their burgers are nicely seasoned and saucy and their BLT sandwich is amazing.
There are two amazing aspects that standout about Paul's Kitchen along with their spectacular food.
Pauls Kitchen is perfect for early morning breakfast, that mid morning brunch, or even the afternoon linner. Their family vibes and great food have always brought a warm sense of welcome during our visits. Pauls Kitchen is easily the best breakfast...
Read moreGood little breakfast place. Seating is limited but we got a seat within 30 seconds of walking in. I think there were somewhere around 11 tables. The service was prompt and attentive, it was a full house but she still managed to top water off and ensure the meal was satisfactory at all times. The food portion sizes varied between the two things we had but even my $7 breakfast was enough food to keep me full. The home fries are real chopped potatoes and have a nice crispy texture. Some of them do have the slight raw potato flavor to them so if you really dislike that it may be best to select the hash browns. The omelette portion size is huge. Bacon was a good compromise between too crispy and too soft, eggs were cooked well and toast was also done well. Things to improve might be the orange juice, which had a bit of an off smell to it. I can't tell if the juice was bad or just an off brand I haven't had before but I couldn't finish my glass because of this (glass is decently sized). It did feel a little cramped at first but after people left I felt more comfortable. Try to look for slower times if crowds bother you. All in all I would...
