Follow up: Came back with my kids. The lobster pho was worth it. They had the lobster and ribs cooked to perfection. The BBH was on point. And 5 stars for REAL straws. Walking into this place I'm thinking it's beautiful but the question on my mind has and alway will be. HOW IS THE FOOD? We ordered the COM SUON BO (Broken rice with beef option) and BUN CHA OC ( vermicelli escargo soup) and 2 drinks. I had the purple yam drink. I would certainly say that it is tasty, refreshing and earthy without being overly sweet and artifical. If you know you know. The Com soun bo (broken rice with grill beef) was the standard fair you would get. However what is exceptional about this dish is they paired it with spare ribs which were tender, smoky and flavorful without being salty. The dish that I came in to try was the BUN CHA OC. The escargot cake balls were perfectly cooked for texture. Soft and tender on the inside with that slight crunch on the outside cover. The broth was something you would find on the streets of Vietnam during their breakfast rush. This dish reminded me of home. The house satay sauce enhanced the flavour of this soup to another degree of flavor. Don't be intimidated by the name of the dish. I would encourage you to try something new. Overall experience was great. The place was clean and I didn't feel rushed. I ll be back to try the other dishs.

As a Vietnamese, I was excited to try this restaurant and support a local business. However, the service I received during my visit was disappointing, and I felt compelled to write my first Google review. We arrived around 8:30 PM as a party of 7. The first issue was the cold and unwelcoming attitude of the server who seated us—this left a poor first impression. Next, the server did not confirm our order before leaving the table, which resulted in some missing items when the food arrived. Additionally, the menus were left on the table after we placed our order, creating unnecessary clutter and no space for our food when it arrived. Throughout our meal, the server did not check on us once. We were never offered a refill on our tea, and there was no follow-up to ensure everything was okay. Around 9:00 PM, another staff member started sweeping near our table, which made us uncomfortable, especially since in Vietnamese culture, this can signal that you want customers to leave. Although the food was good, the poor service left a lasting negative impression. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to friends or consider returning. I hope this review is taken constructively and helps the restaurant improve its service.

The food was really good and that is why I am giving 3 stars and not less. My issue was on the overall service and the excessive wait. 4 of us arrived on Saturday night around 6:15pm. The place was packed. They were able to find us a table pretty quick which was great. But once seated, we did not see a server for quite some time. Maybe 15-20 mins. When they finally approached our table we ordered, but when my friend ordered a coffee with condensed milk, the server said the coffee would take a while, and then quietly said, almost as if to himself, that everything would take a while. But he offered no explanation for that. We waited over an hour. We still didn’t even have the coffee. When we inquired about it, we were told they have only 1 person making the drinks. So we asked him to cancel it if it wasn’t already made. A few minutes later he showed up with the coffee, but said we didn’t have to pay for it. Eventually the first dish arrived. It was one of the main dishes despite the fact we ordered appetizers. That was the only dish out of the 7 items we ordered. Then about 5-8 mins later her appetizer arrived. That was all. Eventually our next 2 appetizers arrived. Then a while after, the next main. Then the 3rd main. Then the 4th main. All staggered. None of the food arrived together and we all started eating at different times. But I will say the food was really good. The broths were flavourful and had really nice depth. I would definitely visit again for the food, but the service needs improvement. If you are understaffed on a busy evening or something else is causing the delay, clearly tell your patrons upfront of the issues so we know what to expect. And it seemed like the servers were confused by what food went to what tables at some points, and they would congregate at the ticket board and it seemed like all were confused. Did not seem like anyone was in charge and leading them through the rush. We were there for 2 hours and most of the time was spent waiting. I really hope things improve or better communicate...

I came after reading all the great reviews. I left feeling so disappointed with the service. We were seated and left unattended, we were never given water. I had to flag someone down after waiting 20 minutes so we could finally order. I watched other parties come in and get water and order before us. After we ordered, we still had no water, I had to flag someone down again who was cleaning a table, this was about 30 minutes after we arrived. We ordered an appetizer that came at the very end of our meal, after our mains. My partner’s food arrived 20 minutes after ordering but my dish, pho, arrived 40 minutes after ordering. I was given no toppings for the pho, which was disappointing. At this point, we asked about the appetizer and the waitress said she would check on it. Thankfully, it did come out shortly after. In this whole experience, we were never checked on, or asked if the food was okay. The service was basically non-existent. When I went up to pay, instead of waiting for someone to come to our table, I received an apology and was notified that there was a mix up in the kitchen which caused the delay, not just for us but the whole restaurant. I wish this is something that could have been communicated much earlier, instead of being left guessing when our food would arrive. I was told that I would receive a 10% discount on my next visit. Even this was not thought out, I asked if I just bring the receipt and they then took my receipt and wrote the discount on it. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience here and would not...

Me and my partner just decided to get lunch here for the first time, and it’s a shame because the food was actually delicious. But immediately after eating her pho, my partner ended up projectile vomiting for half an hour straight. It was very obviously food poisoning. We went back to talk to the manager, and he wasn’t there? He just left in the middle of the day, with no supervisor or trained staff to deal with serious situations like this. So the wait staff sat us down at a dirty table (literally half eaten food dishes, cardboard and resumes scattered throughout it) as they very anxiously tried to contact him. They said he was going to buy something. He came to talk to us drinking a milkshake, which I’m assuming is what he left his restaraunt in the middle of the day to go buy. He gave her a refund, which was nice, but kept trying to downplay the issue by constantly asking if it was an allergy, trying to explain to us that pho beef sometimes comes out pink (which we’re both fully aware of, we get pho regularly. It should not make you PROJECTILE VOMIT after you eat it). And tried to say maybe the combination of spice and dairy made her sick, which obviously isn’t going to make you violently ill?? It was overall just very disappointing, considering the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. But I wouldn’t trust this place, I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen but something tells me the food safety standards...
