(go to pho nguyen like.. east of here.. 35% more portions, 25% cheaper _) Small meat portions, high vermicelli/broth/rice portions. They barely give you more than 140g of meat in their x-large pho (32oz bowl), more like 800g of just carbs. With rice dishes, they give you 4/7 of a man's right hand worth of meat with 2 cups of rice when other places would give you 5/4 of a man's right hand worth of meat. Other places might give you cucumber, egg roll, shredded pork, steam pork and egg quiche, shrimp prawn cake, etc with rice too too and tendon/beef/chicken with pho. Sub-par at best. Average wait time 10-12 minutes, pick-up or eat on site; usually around 1-6 people inside eating or waiting. Relatively clean. For other places around ontario, comparable Vietnamese restaurants give 1.2lb of meat (multiple meats, not just 1) with rice @ around $10 price point. Food is okay for the most part, not the best or better, but not the worst, suitable for average palette.
Avoid upsizing options/portions, the ratio of meat to rice/broth/vermicelli gained is like 1:6. Average dish/large bowl (4 servings) with no oil components runs 800-920 calories with 280 calories/serving. Need to request wifi password for access, no posting on walls. Automatically pushes you to tips option even during pick-up when debiting/cc; no debit/cc surcharge, however. Average dishes runs $10 +/- $3.50, similar to restaurants around the area. Appetizers very expensive per portion ($2.50/portion, $5/dish), but only slightly above average Ontario Vietnamese restaurants by 75 cents. Okay selection for college/uni students around the area (mostly for menu compacting) but only has 65% of the dishes of typical Viet restaurant.

Read moreCame with a friend to check out then place because I heard it was popular among friends at the University. To my surprise, the restaurant was empty on a weekend evening, despite the lack of people, we decided to try out their thai food. After studying all day we ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken with jasmine rice and chicken pad thai. The Servers were very nice and respectful, our food came quick and hot. After diving in our food for the first tastes, we were very pleased. The food was amazing. It was first time trying the chicken cashew, and I will definetly be back to get it again. The portion sizes are massive as well and you definitely get your money’s worth of food. The ambience of the resturant is very nice and it is very clean and well kept. Thank you for your...
Read moreHorrible ownership! To keep it short, there was a mistake in my delivery order (it happens) but there was very little effort made to rectify the situation. Instead, after arguing with the hostess to get some kind of compensation, I come to find out that the owners made her pay $15 OUT OF POCKET to give me a gift card, which was then nullified because I left a bad review with Skip the Dishes.
So much wrong with this picture.. but mostly disgusted that the owners could not absorb the cost for the hostess. Not the kind of place I’d like to be supporting, especially at a time when many other restaurants need...
