We were so excited to go after trying their tacos at Taco Fest in London over the summer! Suuuuper disappointed... We went for their $25 all you can eat taco night last night (08/11/2022) and apparently that was the one Tuesday they weren't having it, but there were no updates saying so anywhere on social media. We weren't going to give up though, so I ordered the 3 taco plate (2 beef and 1 chicken), while my partner ordered Combo 2 with a chimichanga, pupusa and 2 taco dorados. Everything was completely bland :( I isolated the meat out of everything and it seemed they forgot to season it all - my tacos at home would have blown these out of the water and I would have saved the $13.25. My partner's cost a whopping $18.50 so we paid $52 altogether for a meal we did not enjoy. Churros were ok, needed more chocolate though as they were dry. The servers were incredibly awkward people too, and rarely came to the table. Overall - we were very much looking forward to this experience as we live right around the corner, but every aspect of the visit was disappointing. It was edible though - so 2 stars :/
Update: really would have thought the owners would have reached out... pretty astonished they didn't. Tells me all the other reviews aren't genuine, so please support a small business that cares instead of wasting your money at...
Read moreI ordered food from here for a family event (with the pandemic that would be 4 people 1 child totaling 14 pupusas,we received 12/14). There were a few disappointing things that happened in my experience with this restaurant. We were not given an estimate on how long our food would take for our take-out order. If there were catering orders scheduled for the time frame we came into the restaurant or take out orders that would have us waiting longer than 45min for an order for 4 people that is something that was never stated to us at any point. We waited 1.5 hours. 2.Their debit machine was down and if you didn't have cash or an easy web account for etransfer then you would be out of luck if you commuted all the way there. It seemed as if they forgot we were outside waiting and had to go inside to wait. After all that they forgot 2 pupusas and all the Curtido and salsa to our order. But with all this I emphasized with the fact that the pandemic has been hard on restaurants so when I called to let them know about the items... 4.Their response to forgetting parts of our order along with the quality of the pupusas (as a salvadoreña myself) the most disappointing part of the whole experience and the reason why I am writing this review.
Absolutely The Worst Experience I've had with a pupusaria here in London in...
Read moreFor three weeks in a row we have attended this restaurant and found it closed or closed for regular patrons. We call each time before we go and no one answers the phone. We went last weekdays thry had a sign in the door that something came up and they were closed. Today we arrived at 3:35pm and three people were walking up behind us to a restaurant with an OPEN sign on the door. The door was locked and yet there were two people just inside the door. I pointed art he open sign and those inside the door ignored all of us. Then a man came To the door who didn’t speak English so gestured forbid to wait. The owner (?) came to the door and he said their were closed for a private function. It didn’t say this on their website and I told him we wouldn’t return again because no one answers the phone and they don’t update their website weekly that they are not open. He said he didn’t know what to do. All 7 (3 groups of walk up business) left saying the same thing; that any time trying to attend this business they are not open.
Don’t waste your time until they can get a functioning and real time website, someone who actually answers the phone, and they figure out how to run a business that is open...
