This location just blew Tim Hortons’ only shot at getting my business back. As a self-employed individual I spend very little time at home, thus relying on Tim Hortons for the majority of my meals and of course coffee. I typically spend approximately $100-150 per week on meals and coffee, sometimes more if I pay for my employees meals. I have been boycotting them for three weeks now because I am sick of the typical issues like over-charging me, charging me for something only to realize I never got it, things being out of stock and most importantly my order being made wrong for the 5000th time.
So I give in to my want for a Steak Sandwich, because although they have done me wrong so many times their food is in fact delicious, and quite efficiently made.
I order my steak sandwich with extra Chipotle sauce . When I drive away, park, and take a bite its not as much sauce as I would like. NO BIG DEAL. I dont take it personally, the drive through is backed up, so I go into the store. There is a long line, so rather than wait, I ask the sandwich maker “Terah” if I can please have a side of chipotle sauce and a knife. (Didnt ask to have it remade, didnt complain, just simply asked and I would do it myself in my car).
She responds with “You’ll have to get in line I have to charge you for it”. I’m not sure what she assumed, so I told her I did purchase a sandwich in the drive through, and I told them extra chipotle, so I figured I’d just get a side and do it myself. She then said well what did you order, the lovely door attendant (I never saw her name tag) told her. She responds to me in an ignorant and hostile tone “Yeah I made it”. I said yes and I wanted extra chipotle, she said she still has to charge me. I told her well then I must have been already charged for it because I asked ? Then she responds condescendingly that she made the sandwich and that she did put extra chipotle on it, and looks at me like I’m an idiot trying to get away with something and refuses to give the sauce to me without having me charged for it.
I’m not about to fight about the subjectivity of extra chipotle, the photos can speak for themselves or not. I’m am mostly irritated with once again another disapointing Tim Hortons visit, and once again am essentially being belittled, disrespected, and am in the middle of a debate for simply asking for something I may or may not have been charged for (because you never get a receipt) but made clear that it was something I wanted and ordered.
At this point theres about 15 cars in the drive through, 10 people in line, and now I feel guilty for having people wait on Terah, because rather than provide me with sauce or start an arguement over sauce and make sandwiches she is just standing there making me feel like a princess. Slowing the flow of efficiency because my sandwich was made incorrectly and I am being treated as if I’m some type of two-bit con artist?
She wasnt budging, so I had to ask her for her name (which I hate doing, because she takes that as I threat that I will call management or write a bad review) and then all of a sudden she is the happiest woman I have ever met and practically dances to give me the sauce?
I dont get it. Your employees are considerate and understanding of customers ONLY when they are held...
Read moreI would rate this tims 0 stars if i could. I have had a bad experience here in the past but forgot how bad until I went in again on the weekend. My first bad experience was ordering a simple drink and the woman could not understand me even though we were face to face and I repeated it multiple times. So they asked the only worker who's first language is English and he knew what I was saying immediately. But my visit this weekend was maybe the worst restaurant experience I've encountered. I ordered one drink, ordering went fine. But as I waited for my drink i noticed the woman making my drink was moving extremely slow and as the interaction went on it was apparent she was doing it on purpose. I noticed her and another worker both look at me very judging and the one at the window literally skipped to the one making my drink whispered in her ear and then they both stopped to stare at me. The whispering was aimed at me it was completely obvious. From then the one making my drink took super long and her and her friend continued to make faces at eachother and then stare at me after making the faces. It was super obvious they were making fun of me or laughing at me and they didn't look at anyone else. The one making my drink also ran out of whipped cream for my drink and acted like she was being productive squeezing an empty bag, instead she should have gotten a new bag. When I finally got my drink she gave me the dirtiest look and was so nasty to deal with. My drink looked absolutely awful and I know for a fact she did that intentionally. I never felt so judged from 2 people for just waiting for a drink. I could have asked for the manager but knowing my luck one of their dad's owned the tims. I will not be back to this tim hortons. If Tim hortons really cares they should fire these 2 employees. It seems apparent the people from India who work there have a problem with...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons might be the biggest joke in town. Every time I order my breakfast before my shift, often 15-20 minutes before I’d even arrive since they are so slow, they will not even begin to prep up the guest arrives. It only began being like this in the last month but is repeatedly leaving me waiting for my order for 10-15 minutes when I’ve already ordered significantly ahead of time.
People order ahead due to needs of not being able to/wanting to stand in a line. I have been almost late for work on four occasions this month despite giving over 30 minutes of time between placing my order and the beginning of my shift. I should not have to give a coffee shop almost 40 minutes to make a bagel and a coffee. Lobby will be empty, 2-3 cars in the drive thru and nobody is preparing these mobile orders despite 5+ staff members working the floor.
They will know they are out of an ordered item for over 10 minutes while staring at you before anybody comes over to address you after pretending you are invisible.
Monarch Drive is rapidly becoming the worst Tim Hortons in town due to purely incompetence staff, and I will not be ordering here again. I suggest you do the same unless you enjoy wasting your time.
I’m not sure if these reviews are monitored in any way, but hope someone sees this and they get themselves together because the way they are running their franchise store is...
