This is one of the worst Tim Hortons I have been in.The service was atrocious...I entered the establishment, there was no one in line. The customer before me has just received their order at the end of the counter. As I stood by the cash the staff member turned around and left without a word to me. There were five staff members milling around not paying attention to anything. The store was basically empty other than myself and two people sitting down. It took 5 minutes and my expressing frustration before someone came to take my order, med ice cap. bagel with cream cheese, pumpkin spice latte and a doughnut....so this was an exercise in frustration as well I asked for napkins, as the napkin dispenser was empty, this became a discussion between 3 staff members as no one knew where the napkins were. I has to remind them that I had ordered a bagel with cream cheese, this then became another discussion between two staff members as to making sure that the second staff member put the bagel into a bag before giving me the item....so long story short I was extremely disappointed with the entire process and will definitely not recommend this particular Tim Hortons to anyone else. My recommendation is either go to the Maitland On-route one, Kingston has many Tim's or bite the bullet and go to Starbucks in town, the service will be better...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the Gananoque location of Tim Hortons. I have been served there 6 times in the last 14 days and every single time there has been a problem with my order. They consistently lack the products they advertise as available including chili, white buns for sandwiches, requested donuts and muffins, etc. In the last six visits there has been at least one problem with each of the orders and these were the times that I was lucky enough to get service. I have also been there an additional five visits in the last 14 days to find the drive-thru closed at varying times throughout the evening, despite their advertised hours of the drive-thru being open until midnight. It is very frustrating when one night they close at 6pm one night at 8:30pm one night at 7pm, etc. I have voiced my concerns multiple times but the management continues to post incorrect hours of operation and the lack of inventory continues to be an ongoing problem. It's very unfortunate because my family enjoys many Tim Hortons products but it is difficult to continue to support a business that lacks consistency and shows no evidence of attempts to improve in all of the areas...
Read moreUPDATE#2: I should learn my lesson at this point. I just waited in line for 20 minutes as the next person up to the window. 20 Minutes, I shut my car off after 10. They need to figure out thier processes. Also they were not short staffed so that excuse is moot.
Updated Review: Almost every time I visit this location these days I am told they do not have what I am looking for. It is almost to the point that I choose other places simply because I don't hear "No we don't have that" everyday. To clarify it happens with a ton of diffrent products and more often then not with donuts I have to go through 3 request till I find one they actually have ready.
Some of the staff are fantastic and some are in need of a lesson in customer service. Frequently I can go thru the drive thru and not receive a single word from the staff at the window. A have a nice day or thank you would be nice. Speed of service isn't everything and I think customer service should be moved up on the list...
